PvP Zone Etiquitte
No, it's PvP. The game answers this question if you talk with any of the Longbow representatives when you enter the zone.
You can be attacked, therefore eventually you will be attacked with any and all disregard to some sort of "code of honor" that you may have.
There's no such thing as etiquette in video game PvP.
Be well, people of CoH.
Here's my etiquette for Zone PvP:
* I will use Inspirs.
* I will use Accolade Powers
* I will aggro NPCs to distract you
* I will interrupt fights to gank
I'm a Villain and my PvPer is /WP so I fight dirty.
I'm just wondering if there is any established etiquette while in a PvP zone. Things like honoring duels and the like. This is mostly for Warburg since it's really a FFA in there, but I guess it would be good for other zones too.

- If you see 2 players going at it in a small area, that is away from the action, they are most likely dueling. In Sirens, this is usually the corners of the zone. Many PvPers respect a duel and leave the 2 alone.
- In Warburg, many PvPers will leave a player alone if they see a scientist trailing behind the player. The scientist indicates that the player is engaging in PvE content and NOT looking to PvP.
- In RV, unteamed players that are farming Pill Boxes away from the PvP action are often left alone by PvPers.
- More so than anything mentioned already. Droning is frowned upon, and almost always met with some form of retribution.
Keep in mind, not attacking any of the above on sight means you are weak, a sissy, born with girl parts, and generally better off picking flowers and learning to knit.
"the reason there are so many sarcastic pvpers is we already had a better version of pvp taken away from us to appease bad players. Back then we chuckled at how bad players came here and whined. If we knew that was the actual voice devs would listen to instead of informed, educated players we probably would have been bigger dicks back then." -ConFlict
Warning you are entering a PvP zone and can be attacked by other players and the big countdown is etiquette enough. It is zone PvP, if they are an enemy, they are fair game. If you want to TRU WARRIR and stand toe-to-toe and trade blows, not use travel powers, not use escape powers, not use accolades, etc. then do it in the arena where you can turn off some of those and there can never be the excuse that your teammates are buffing you, "x" person interrupted me, or any other stupid excuses that people can come up with.
And also zone PvP is bad, gotta thank some people for TS and HD...................

ok, vinnie/Refractor, loved those vids btw. How about I just say no insp, no travel powers, no accoldade usage, just stand there and brawl it out duels are dumb and boring and almost require someone to just jump in and kill both of the ones doing it.......

Your posts have been giving me headaches since back when you were in Paragon Elite, so no, I don't think that will help much.
Appreciate the offer though.

to the above...
* I will gank you while you're AFK
* I will also attack you while you're chatting
* In fact, I will attack you any time I think I have an advantage - esp if you're
not paying attention, or are otherwise distracted...
* I will tp you away from any "safe" area that I can to attack you
* I may even tp you into a crowd of NPCs, or within range of a Drone if you're
too near my base.
In short, even if you're a personal friend or S/VG member, if you're on
the opposing faction in a PvP zone, first and foremost, you're a target
before anything else.
That is the PvP etiquette I'm aware of...

I've been rich, and I've been poor. Rich is definitely better.
Light is faster than sound - that's why some people look smart until they speak.
For every seller who leaves the market dirty stinkin' rich,
there's a buyer who leaves the market dirty stinkin' IOed. - Obitus.

to the above... * I will gank you while you're AFK * I will also attack you while you're chatting * In fact, I will attack you any time I think I have an advantage - esp if you're not paying attention, or are otherwise distracted... * I will tp you away from any "safe" area that I can to attack you * I may even tp you into a crowd of NPCs, or within range of a Drone if you're too near my base. I think I love you guys. I was afraid I was going to have to follow some vague rules of protocol when I go into these zones. Now I know that if you went in, you're *** belongs to me.
Now for the really hard part. I have to learn how to make fun of whiners.
Best way to make fun of a whiner is by killing them again, immediately after they come out of the base.

Zone PvP always reminds me of Galaxy Quest. The scene where they are fighting the enemy group and Jason Nesmith says, "You may be bigger, but I'm trailing mines!"
Except, my mines are Shivans. Or Arachnos soldiers.
