Incarnate Surges

Each unequipped incarnate power that you have crafted has very tiny cumulative chance of firing (0.5%?) when the currently equipped one is used. So, if you have 5 different Judgment powers crafted and use your currently equipment one, then your equipped one works like normal (100% chance), and you have a 2% chance that one of the 4 unequipped ones will randomly fire as well. This would work the same for all of the other click powers. So, the more you have crafted, the better the chance of a surge occurring. For always on incarnate slots, a surge has a chance of occurring once every 10 seconds, and the surge last for 10 seconds if it does fire. So, if you have ALL of your slots crafted of one slot type (and one equipped) you would have a 17.5% chance for a surge occurring.

I think this idea is very in line with the incarnate story line of slowly gaining more power over time, and is just pretty darn cool. Would love to see this happen : )

The percents, or the idea all together?

The idea seems all in good fun, but I think the percents could be a slight tad lower.

Because people who can grind 24/7 need even more power...

/Unsigned. I just don't see the need for this.

I'm guessing from your comments that you don't like the way they implemented the incarnate system. I'm the complete opposite, the harder or more work it takes to achieve the a reward, the more I like it : ) I especially like all the new and old master of badges, and the "defeat x" badges. I would like it if they expanded on both of those. Have "Master of" for all ouroborus arcs, TFs, SFs, and trials (standard no deaths/temps would be fine with me). For defeats, have auto defeat badges generated for all destructible enemies/objects in the game on a standardized sliding scale by difficulty. "Lord Recluse Specialist" defeat badge for example would take a great deal less to achieve then the "Rikti Drone Specialist". Could have some funny badges spring from that, like "Box Specialist" heh.

I can live with the Incarnate system (the lack of OPTIONS in how to partake of the system is a different matter)

However, the Incarnate system was, repeatedly might I point out, sold as being 'Open to All'. This suggestion favours ONLY those who have the time to get/grind components.

Also, given some people are already complaining about how Incarnates makes the game 'too easy' (A different thread topic whether I agree or not), I don't see this going down too well.

Hmm how about if it's a small chance for an unequipped ability to proc and that unequipped ability could be anything rather than giving each ability it's own chance to proc

I don't think anything like what the op suggested would be implemented anyways but I'd like to hear your ideas on this

The works well for Alpha and Interface, but it could be counter productive for the other ones. Example: You are trying to stealth or flee and you roll a Judgement.

Maybe this could be added as an Interface tree(with WAY lower %s than the current trees). No base interface effect, but the chance to fire off your judgement destiny or lore(not affecting that powers recharge state, but 0% chance to fire if that incarnate power is still recharging)?

Kinda like *fires ball lightning* "WHOA "Ion Judgement Jump""

or *Inferno* "*Ageless Core Barrier procs* Cool"

Yeah, one of the nice things about the Incarnate system is that people who have the time and inclination to work up several trees in each slot get a bit more flexibility, but no more power than people who only open up one tree (whether because they have less time to play, less patience for Trials, or more characters to work on). This idea kind of ruins that.

T4 in all slots is the Incarnate power cap, let's keep it that way.

This is the main problem with this suggestion. I takes control out of when I use my powers out of my hand. I'd prefer if this were an optional thing that you can turn off and on via Null the Gull or for it not to be implemented at all.

That said I still /unsign this, as Silver Gale and others have said, the system is supposed to be open to all and the those who have time to grind tier 4s don't need/deserve an advantage over those with lives.
