I'm also getting that message. Not quite fixed yet methinks.
EDIT: It is working, though not with all characters it seems. I tried copying over Knightmare Revenant; name invalid. I tried Anbarus; "Your character has been queued for copying."
Please tell me the paranoid copyright/profanity filter hasn't been applied to character names on Beta.

Ok, update.
I can conclude that there is no name/word filter in effect. I was successfully able to copy Knightmare Revenant over to Beta after repeated attempts.
Character Copy is working folks, it's just a bit skittish at the moment. If at first you don't succeed, try again later. Perseverance is the key.

Looks like it is just bulked down, wait for a previous queued character to move and there will be another space to load a copy request into...

No luck so far copying from Union to Beta, has claimed to add to the queue 4-5 times amidst the numerous invalid name errors but as yet nothing is actually appearing on the character list.
Same here - I queued a copy of Robo from Defiant to Beta (no warning messages) a couple of hours ago, but still no sign of my one and only lvl50 on the Beta machine yet.
Must be lost in the post

I cant see how it would be full, the copy tool when the open beta started didnt have logs like that and thats with the NA servers, the number of EU players wanting to copy their characters over from the EU servers isnt that high.
If it is just full then thats bad on the actual tool itself.

Apparently ALL Beta and potentially all test characters got wiped, therefore everyone and their dog are trying to replace the lost test characters with replacements from live, multiple characters per player soon adds up, it's been intermittently at full capacity since it came back online, then there are the players who having not seen the copy appear have re-queued their character multiple times.
Gonna take a while for all these copies to actually get created and moved especially if each character to copy is ingame at the time too.

It might be full I don't know. But why in all that's useful don't they give it an error message such as "copy tool full please try later" or could that message be just to helpful
As it is "Character name you provided is invalid." seems to be as helpful as an error message on MircoSoft XP

Probably because that is it's error catching response usually reserved for corrupt banned or otherwise restricted characters and character names.
I don't think a Queue overload situation was ever planned for, at least it's falling back to a generic error message rather than just crashing, but I agree it could do with a Queue full error message.

Character copy tool is working now. I was able to copy a character from Defiant to Beta.

I ask as I had some toons showing "(copy in progress)" from 2 hours ago, checked again and they now show that I can copy to Test and Beta again suggesting they have been processed.
Checked on Beta they're not on the character select list.
UPDATE: Character now on the server is still showing 'in progress' on the Tool, but hell that is probably just a delay. None of the characters I processed two hours ago are showing though, nevermind thought, it is working now.
