2) Cocoon - Silk worms wrap your target in silk leaving him helpless.

3) Colony - A fire ant colony attacks the legs of multiple opponents causing minor damage and slowing movement dramatically.

6) Cry of the Cicada - A swarm of cicada cause a targeted AoE stun and sonic damage.

Interesting, but I am betting it would be annoying with all those bugs on the screen. Maybe not as annoying as the Fire FX but a swarm of bees might make lag even worse when it occurs!

Still though, a cool idea, just not sure (from my point of view) if it worth the effort.

It's 'Scorpion' and scorpions are arachnids, not insects. Perhaps 'Arthropod Swarm/Control'?

Nah, it's just look like this:

But maybe with updated looks to make it cooler looking. And I'd actually suggest maybe a 'Hive' pet that basically summons more bees...so the bees would be weak defensively, but the hive can just summon more and quickly.

And the ants could have a similar effect (cloudy aura with a creepy/crawly overlay) but rather than flying through the air, it'd move across the ground and glob up around the target's feet.

Now that's another name idea: Creepy-Crawly Control, Creepy-Crawly Crowd Control for alliteration purposes...

Seems like it'd take a while to iron out all the bugs.

Fire Ants and Colony would probably need to be immobilizes to really fit. As is they're just attacks with a debuff, they offer no actual control effect. That wouldn't make all that much sense though, since I'm pretty sure you wouldn't just stand there and let them bite at you.

Maybe switch it to spiders instead. Spiders could web you into place and still have poisonous bites for the damage. (Yes spiders aren't bugs, but if we're already including scorpions that ship has sailed.)

Maybe just rename it Swarm Control... then you could add things like rats perhaps... Vermin Melee? Punch people with locusts and rats and cockroaches?

Hehehe

Good call! Perhpas make it a much quicker recharging pet that allows you to place it in a targeted location like traditional pet summons, and it would just spew out pseudo-pets that have debuff and controll effects with some DoT thrown in? Maybe a recharge that would allow it to be available say JUST less than every spawn?
