What AT/Powerset am I looking for?
And yea, reactive interface glitch isn't something that's going to make me go towards a character because at least for now I can only assume they're gonna fix it

That is, until it isnt.
Even if they do change reactive to tick somewhat less than it does now doesn't mean that it will become horribly useless. I imagine it would be sorta similar to the shield charge nerf, unless you are really watching the numbers compared to the old, you will still be happy with the destruction laid in your wake.

Guide: Tanking, Wall of Fire Style (Updated for I19!), and the Four Rules of Tanking
Story Arc: Belated Justice, #88003
Synopsis: Explore the fine line between justice and vengeance as you help a hero of Talos Island bring his friend's murderer to justice.
Grey Pilgrim: Fire/Fire Tanker (50), Victory
Even if Interface is fixed/changed, Fire/Cold takes advantage of it better than most toons. You can hit a mob at range 4 with AoEs in just a few seconds. I actually prefer Diamagnetic because you can open a mob with a 100% chance for a little tohit debuff and then stack from there.... but right now it IS hard to not to go Reactive (I have and use both)
Fire/Cold is good because it's going to out-damage just about anything and it can get to s/l soft cap easily. Sleet is also a pretty good survivability power as it knocks things down and diverts their attention to escaping rather than running toward you to smack you in melee range.
Fire/Cold is deceptive in how survivable it can be. But it's real benefit is versatility. A team almost CANNOT FAIL an encounter with a well played fire/cold. Whether you're playing fast and loose or slow and turtled, you're bringing everything you've got to the table. You aren't dependent on anything other than having green in your HP bar. This, IMO, is what puts it over traps and anything Ill (Illusion loses it's luster when things are going too fast/out of control because it depends too much on pets). Fire/Cold is a firecracker that's always ready to pop.
An Ice/Fire Dom or a Dark/Dark (or Dark/Traps) Corr might fit your bill too.
Rad/Sonic defender from about level 10 on.
Mini-guides: Force Field Defenders, Blasters, Market Self-Defense, Frankenslotting.
So you think you're a hero, huh.
@Boltcutter in game.
i have played and love rad/sonic, but it really shines in single target and lacks in aoe. howl is a great attack and all, but it's still a cone. and again i don't think he's looking for a good leveling toon, he wants a god at 50(+).
Just to recommend the fire/cold some more.
I Ran a Trio ITF last night with my Fire/cold. Fairly impressive in itself, but we finished in less than 31 minutes and only one death. The last stage computer defense woke up and basically one shotted me.
Team make up:
Fire/cold corr (me doing all the heavy lifting)
Earth/earth dom
SS/EA brute
We might run another one tonight with optimized toons to see how fast we can do it. I'm at work now, but tonight I'll try and post a couple of the screen shots I took.
Haven't deleted it, just have 2 colds at the moment, I have a lot of trouble deleting a toon everyone is telling me I NEED to level :P
And yea, this thread is for an IOed level 50
