Looking for the 5 Influence tour for a returning player

Hi folks, I have just started back up after 2 years away. I have been playing EQ2, Sony's loss is CoH's gain.

I haven't splurged on GR yet, was it worth $20? What are the must see things I missed outside of GR over the last 2 years?

I have 3 lvl 50 toons to play with and a bunch of alts of all kinds.

When exactly did you leave? Here's a list of Issues so you can compare against the date you left and read up.

Big changes since you left probably include a bunch of rebalancing and QoL stuff, including revamped Posi task force. It's now shorter and in two parts. You can also colorize your powers and often customize them too, like choosing whether fire breadth comes from your mouth or out of your hands.

And of course there's Going Rogue and the incarnates stuff. You can switch sides, there's a lot more merits to earn and new was to spend them (Luck of the Gambler is 2 Hero Merits, which beats the heck out of paying 100 mil at the auction house). New missions, revamped missions, and all the extra Incarnate powers and new task forces for your level 50's.

Plus ultra mode.

Over all, I'd say it's way worth it, and to get the Complete Edition of Going Rogue if you can. The extra goodies, especially the costumes, are nice.

I'd say it's defiantly worth it!!! Rogue/ vigilante allignments are awesome 3 areas to travel too praetoria, paragon city & rogue isles that's a lot of zones.

I returned recently too. I bought GR. I am very pleased. As far as catching up....

Best way is to hop back in the game, get on those global channels and find the friendlies (btw, people now have yellow names if they are 'helpers'. Feel free to hit them up as well).

Thanks for the info all. I got GR and started a new alt in Praetoria last night. (Just what I need a new alt.)

Gameboy.. the WIKI was what I was looking for. I had forgotten about it so thanks for that info.

I was astounded to find my old SG still up and running. Guess that says something.
