Hot Feet AND Mud Pots? Just Hot Feet? Neither?
If you were to only take one, why would that one be Mud Pots and not Hot Feet?
Issue 16 made me feel like this.

If anybody has strong feelings against hot feet, besides its endurance usage they better stop trolling. Mudpots has little benefit to you when you already have Hotfeet. Get Hotfeet, slot Hotfeet, Love Hotfeet and forget mud"flop" never existed.
i used to have a fire/earth dom but running both was a huge end usage even ED capped for end reduct
i liked the extra dmg personally, but i dont like fire control very much so i deleted him
I have a 50 Elec/Earth who I haven't played much lately because I feel Earth Assault needs a bit more improvements. While the melee damage gives you that "wow feeling", the actual dps is not that high considering you put yourself at risk to go melee most of the time. I don't use Spear and Hurl 'cause both of them are just too darn slow for me.
I didn't take Mud Pots because the last thing I need is waking all the sleepy foes when I go in.
I really think they should have given Earth Assault Earth Embrace or something that gives melee Dom some survival when controls don't work. Mud Pots costs too much endurance, has too little radius and the damage is just so-so. I am reading Mids info and it costs freaking 0.78/s? wow... that is a lot of endurance and the radius is only 8'.
Does Mud Pots attract a lot of aggro? I mean if you run both Hot Feet and Mud Pots, that's a lot of aggro-magnet. My honest thought is neither. I have a very old 50 Fire/Thorn and she took Hot Feet early on and then dropped it. I guess I can eventually put Hot Feet back since sets can reduce endurance cost a lot now.
What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.
Ok then. Thanks for the replies. I actually *DO* want Hot Feet, I was just open to considering anti-Hot Feet opinions. I will drop Mud Pots from my build, keep Hot Feet, put a 3rd Concealment power in the freed slot for a LOTG Recharge, and move my 4 saved slots to other places.

All,
I am trying to decide whether to include either or both Hot Feet and Mud Pots on my Fire/Earth Dominator. My build, including Cardiac, would let me run both with no worries. However, the radius on Mud Pots ... not good.
I have liked Hot Feet on my other Doms, so I'm planning on keeping that one. Unless someone has strong feelings against Hot Feet.
If I do drop Mud Pots, I have to decide whether to pick up Hurl Boulder (more for silly fun than anything else) or to just drop the slots here and there to shore up other powers.
Anyway, please let me know what you think.
