Fire/Dark/Soul Build Advice...
1)The Recharge IOs in Fireblast and Blaze are only giving you 0.2 seconds of recharge. Personally I would definitely either move those to other powers, or looking at your build you're planning to exemp with it. I would definitley replace them with End Redux IOs.
2) There is no Knockback protection in the build. Big no-no. Maybe Replace the Winter's Gift unique with a BotZ: -KB?
3) I'd replace Power Boost with Soul Drain (Slot with an accuracy), really nice to have before Inferno. Speaking of which:
4) One slotted Infero will serve to do nothing but annoy the mobs around you. I'd at least drop the ToHit Debuff/Rech Dark watcher's despair from Darkest Night for a second pure damage in Inferno. And maybe try to find somewhere for a third slot, at least For a Dam/Acc to add in Inferno (the Sixth slot in FireBlast).
5) Not sure if you're planning to get them or not, since they're not selected in Mids. But you'll prolly need Born In Battle/Portal Jockey and Marshal/Atlas Medallion pretty bad. Even with Cardiac your End consumption is still pretty heavy.
EDIT: Looking a little more at the build, while Inferno is nice to have. Maybe dropping it fully for Aim (which is always good to have) and PowerBoost for Vengeance (mule for a 5th LotG, so you can slot a Karma -KB in CJ/Hover/Shadow Fall) would do you better? Just a suggestion.

Okay, made some changes...I thought I had moved that 5th slot in DN, guess I hadn't.
Didn't worry about the KB protection to much, as with lots of defense and the -tohit, on my Defender, that covered KB missing quite a bit, but I liked the idea of getting one KB protection IO into the build.
However, looking over the build, I'm wondering if the Apoc set is worth putting into Fire Blast. The dmg proc is nice, and the +RCH, but none of that really helps the DPS chain any, maybe I should put Thunderstrikes in the attack instead, as that will be a bit more ENDREC and even more Range Defense.

And if you're using Darkest's night regularly 40% Ranged defence are just as good as having softcap, even better since DN has such a hefty -ToHit in it. Plus you also have Fearsome Stare for addtional -ToHit.
But yeah, the build looks better to me now. I woulda kept Assault and traded the Winter's Gift for a BotZ but everyone has their own style in toon building

Build looks very solid, especially with the revisions. Only a few things I'd recommend tweaking.
I'd drop the end rdx from Fire Blast. Its only saving you about 1 end (even less with the Cardiac Alpha) and you can put that slot to better use elsewhere. I agree with Wanted_NA, I'd move the Apocs to Blaze. Its your best attack, put your best set in it.
Try and slot Soul Drain more. I'd want the recharge on it maxed out with decent accuracy too. It'll turbocharge your offence and you've got enough recharge to get good uptime on it. Speaking of recharge, why no Hasten? You've got enough recharge to have Hasten perma (or close to it) so I'd pick it up.

No Hasten was something I kept thinking about. But I couldn't come up with the 2 additional slots he'll need to 3 slot it (outside of the one Silas noted in Fireblast). Plus, I've noticed over the past that BrandX has a tendency to not use Hasten in their builds, so I sorta just dropped the subject, lol.
I'd post the build I made for mine, but mine is a cheap build (No purples or PvP IOs. 20% defence overall. Using spiritual Alpha for more recharge. Hasten and Soul Drain are about 3 seconds off perma with it) since I'm not planning to make him a main toon just yet. I have a Fire/Cold that I'm extremely pleased with. My Fire/Dark isn't 50 yet, so who knows what will change by the time he's there, haha.

Even Hasten with 1 or 2 slots would make a big difference given the level of recharge BrandX has in their build.
Of course, BrandX if you just don't like Hasten its not a big deal, you've got enough recharge anyway. Hasten would just be a sizeable boost.

I'm not oppossed to Hasten, it's more that I can usually come up with enough +RCH outside of using Hasten, to obtain the DPS chain I'm trying for.
Right now as it is, I just lack the End Rec. :/ Hasten I would think just make that more apparent.
Though if I do add Hasten to the build with 5 second off of perma easily enough, that's 111 DPS on the attacks alone, add in Tar Patch and -Regen...the build obviously needs some tweaking.

Well, Cardiac should help a lot with the extra endurance pressure. If you pick up Dark Consumption from the Dark pool that'll also help.

Pretty maybe, but its got even worse duration/recharge stats than PG (which is already pretty bad) and is slower to cast to boot.

Here's my build! Curious if anyone can think of possible changes. As it is right now, the Nuke is taken purely for occaissional fun use of seeing a big explosion. I have no intention to use it often, as it would drop my toggles!
The last two powers are only taken as *shrug* whatever powers. ShouldI replace them?
I went for high defense, as I have found with my Dark/Ice, Dark/Sonic Defenders, that high defense makes a BIG difference when combined with -to hit debuffs.
So with these powers in mind, any changes one could think I should make?
