If you don't know...
To be fair, I'm now convinced that there's something buggy about the temp drop assignment because I don't think I've done a single Lambda where we've got all 10 containment units and *not* had to farm at least one acid temp off the courtyard drops to close all 10 portals.
Statistically it's unlikely that every single Lambda I've run has had at least one of the 10/16 players who got the acid drops who's incapable of doing their job properly.

to make it easier they should just have the temp power drop on whoever got the killing blow on the cache/chamber lol
would solve some problems IMO lol

Also to be fair (bit more calm now ) some people just don't know where to look, or what they are looking for. We had a guy today that didn't even know about league chat, so it may be just a matter of time and education.

It would be random then. When I did my master run, we got all 10. I have been on several others that got all 10 also.

Oh and I can agree with you OP, haha. I know the layout for the caches and chambers pretty well, but lord knows getting people to follow me can be like herding cats. That run where we had three grenades only was when people just kept spreading out.
Too bad my brute buddy is sick IRL, we would just duo all of the objectives and let the others sink or swim. :C

Photoshop doesn't make a good artist.
I don't think people realize they've gotten 2 acids sometimes. The icon drops from the tray after use, even if you have multiples of it.

People can also use two acids on the same door when they're throwing them if they're not careful.

Off-topic a bit, but this reminds me of a time before Enhancement Stores were marked on the map. No-one knew where the things were, and the game sure as snugglebears wasn't telling us. I had that foldout map of the city that came with the original box, and that had the stores marked on it with yellow squares (it had their very rough locations, rather) which I had to manually follow to find said stores.
However, because I didn't want to have to use a fold-out map every time, I had to run around the zones and remember where each store in every zone was. I did that for Steel Canyon (it was easy) Skyway City (it was pretty hard with so much of the zone looking the same), Independence Port (it was useless with how spread out they are) and Talos Island, where all the shops were close together. For the longest time, I had to act as tour guide for my team, showing them to stores of a particular origin, since it seemed like I was always the only one who knew.
It's interesting how easily people nowadays take "going to the store" for granted, but there was a time when people seriously needed help and guidance to go to the store.
---
Of course, the 30-40 SO vendors weren't on the foldout map, so I had to ask and beg until I eventually found them, and then proceeded to forget where they were for a long time afterwards. Ghost Falcon, on the other hand, was always easy to find
Samuel_Tow is the only poster that makes me want to punch him in the head more often when I'm agreeing with him than when I'm disagreeing with him.

In all my runs, if both teams have equal numbers, the team that goes after the acids usually completes the task first. I'm surprised none of the league leaders I've teamed with have ever thought of pulling one person from the acid team to enter the warehouse with the other team.
Also, it could be just me, but whenever I click on the elevator to enter the warehouse or the lab, the mini map zooms in such that I only see a small portion of the whole map. I always have to zoom it out before I can see where my team mates are. If there are players who are clueless enough not to know how to check their power menu for temp powers, there will be those who don't know how to adjust their mini maps, and fail to follow the leader.
After all, it's not possible for the whole team to enter together due to the elevators opening and closing, so if the leader moves off without waiting for everyone to be in zone, the ones who enter after the first round will find no one on the screen and when they look at the mini map, they won't see any green arrows either.
And then you find yourself in a team-diaspora situation.
If you are on a map, and you don't know the way, and someone else does, why not follow them?
I am sure there will be an overlay for the Lambda map, but till then I memorized the locations of the vats in the training facility. I am sure I am not the only one who has done this. So, rather than typing out this long explanation, I say "Follow me" in team chat. If a person has no clue where else to go, why not follow? If the team leader is following, it may mean it's a good idea. Even a "Why should I follow you?" would work.
Now if you also know the map, and you feel that it will be faster to split, the say so. But why wonder around lost?
I used to run the STF with friends of mine and they would get so frustrated and angry about things in that TF. I always said that the STF takes great people and turns them into Jerks. Well, Lambda is my STF. I love the trial, I think it is massive fun, but people who don't listen during it frustrate me to no end.
We collect 10 acids, and only 8 get used. Why? Same for Grenades. ARGH!!!!!
Today were were on a tight time limit (early server down warning), we thought we had till 3pm. I am thinking, we will be fine, we have plenty of time. I can usually clear the acid map with time to spare to help the other team with grenades. Well, the other team got 3 grenades, and it took my team (who wouldn't follow ANYONE), ok the team lead and I were together, the full time, and bonus time to get 9 acids. And STILL we had to farm 3 more vats in the yard for acids.
I am not uptight about anything else in the game. Dieing is just another badge, we fail we will do it again, but for some reason Lambda really brings out the worst in me.
