Why was there no predownload for I20?

I was completely updated and patched in four minutes. It used to take 45 minutes to just verify my files. I much prefer the new updater.

My only option to get anything better is to move, and while I constantly wish I could do just that, I don't think my wife and kids would agree with me.
Just wondering why no predownload, or are we ignoring the data the goberment recently published that most of the US does infact have on average dsl quality speed "broadband".

There was probably no predownload because the old patcher that has support for predownload is being phased out and the new patcher doesn't have predownload support yet.

A predownload option wouldnt make it any slower for you though, and be nice for those with crap net connections.
I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

I left the launcher running when I went to work. When I got home, the patch was downloaded and ready to apply. That took 70 seconds.

I'm still running the old updater only took me about 10 minutes to downlaod and patch
/e shrugs if it aint broke.
Is this because of the new updater? Every other release I remember a pre download so those of us with slow connections dont have to wait all night before we can play.
