I remember 2 hours maintenance breaks

So we are now over 5 hours and nothing, last time over 6 hours and the time before that 5 hours, do we sense a trend?

So are we having the 5 hour break today and a 6 hour one on Thursday?

Today is issue 20. last week was a mistake, and we got the Halloween event over the weekend to make up for it.

Keep in mind that the bigger the game gets, the longer the downtime is needed to make sure they didnt break stuff when adding more updates to it. Its just a fact of life when it comes to programming. The bigger your program, the more places it can break.

Jezz... You do know that they are launching Issue 20 today right?
Cut them a little slack for trying to give you new content to play with.

I strongly suspect the long maintenance last Thursday was also related to getting ready for I20 (despite the problems they had). This game still has like a 99% "up-time" record - letting it be down for a few hours here or there seems reasonable enough for me.

I remember the DAILY 2 hours maintenances, now we have a weekly, less than 2 hours, and once in a while for a publish, a 5 or 6 hours break.

Do I see a trend ? Yes indeed, a trend of more frequent issues, which is not that bad after all.

I prefer to wait until 10pm local and have no service to complain.

Then probably complain again when we get some lame 'compensation.'

And if it's actually up on time without any horrible, fundamental bugs I can be stunningly happy and surprised it's all worked out so well.

I remember a game with much less content, with a lower level cap, with no meaningful gear progression, with no market, with no paper/radio/Tip missions, with no readily accesible temp powers, with fewer Task Forces, with no Badges, with no Incarnate boosts ...

I also remember playing other games with far more downtime.

Funny how memory affects each of us differently.
