Masters of Tin Mage Guide?
Thank You!!
Here are a couple of strategies I have found on another forum.
You and your team will need to do some preparing first! Here is what you'll need to get for this mission: Shivans Biological Nuke from Warburg Chemical Nuke from Warburg Power Core Unit from the Vanguard base (HVAS Mech) Flight packs, if you don't all have fly. Ok, now, once you have all of this, here are the instructions to complete this with no worries at all: Enter the door to Director 11's warehouse Let the 30 second timer expire. Defeat all 3 ambushes of Clockwork. Have 1 persons click the glowies, (leave the South Center glowie alone) Gather on the last glowie and have everyone spawn all their Shivans, Power Core Units, and any other pets you may have, then go into flight about 10 feet above the glowie. Everyone Drop their Biological Nukes on the pets. Pop all of your purples if you have them, use your Eye of Magus / Demonic Accolade Click the last glowie and when Director 11 spawns, throw down your Chemical Nukes and watch the pets destroy Director 11! |
1) 7 of 8 team members enter, 1 stays outside and ATTs when all glowies are clicked. 2) Outside, spawn shivans, hvas, arachnos mini blasters, pets, etc. 3) Drop biological nukes to buff pets. 4) Turn on jet packs and eat a half dozen or more lucks, magus if you have it. 5) Reenter warehouse and move to a position on the far side of Director 11. This draws the pets through his position. 6) Drop remaining warburg nukes and toggle on etherial shift / phase shift. 7) Phase shift detoggles after 30 seconds, by then he was dead. |
The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.
Enter the door to Director 11's warehouse
Let the 30 second timer expire. Defeat all 3 ambushes of Clockwork. |
To earn both badges in a single run (as your second quote stated):
One team member does not enter the building and waits to teleport the team back outside to regroup after the blinkies are clicked.
Gather at the door and get your pets/buffs going.
Proceed to enter the building again all at once and kick D11 off the planet! lol
The sidenote here is that using jetpacks and purples and such is usually not even necessary if you are going to the extremes of using multiple Warburg nukes and HVAS. D11 would be dead in less than 15 seconds. The mines wouldn't even start appearing until well after that time anyway... but I guess there is nothing wrong with being extra careful, especially if you will have wasted all that equipment if you fail.

Anyway, neither of those guides cover the last two badges.
Then again, they are pretty self-explanitory, but I'll add my

For the final fight with Bobcat and Neuron, you should pull Neuron around a corner (away from Bobcat) and just keep focusing on his clones until "Army of Neu" is earned. Then finish him off (as well as the incoming War Walkers). If done right, Bobcat should still be at 100% the whole time, so you'll easily earn "Kitty's Got Claws" after defeating her and finish off your MoTin.

If you happen to pull Bobcat with Neuron, just watch your pets and AoEs to try to keep her as alive as possible while you fight the rest. Pull them apart if you can, or retreat and try again if necessary.
Good Luck!
Just to let you know, I have Army of Neu, Kitty's Got Claws, and Hacker already. It's the Midnight Dodger that I keep getting screwed on.
Awesome Advice, Thanks.
I have Master of now on several characters and used the click all but one glowie method each time. yes you need to run the TF twice in order to get the MO badge that way but ... If your after the Master Of badge I am assuming you are a badger??? Well this week what is the WST? Tin Mage and unless you already have them aren't there also badges available for completing one, ten and 50 addition WST Task Forces after getting your Notice of the week? So who cares if you have to do it twice? More INF, SHARDS, Recipes, salvage etc to be earned along with the badges you want!
Oh by the way we tried this earlier tonight with a team I was on and hit a bug. We took out all three ambushes with no problem and them assembled in striking distance of the spawn point and began rezzing pets and buffing up. Team leader clicked 9 of ten glowies and then made sure we were all ready.. clicked the 10th and NO spawn??? Not sure how many seconds passed but it was long enough that we were beginning to wonder what went wrong and how can we fix it when BOOM the spawn suddenly erupted into the building sending us all flying and Oh yeah killing three of us in the process not to mention countless summoned pets. Needless to say we did not defeat Director 11 in 30 seconds.. we did pound his sorry butt into the floor but lost the Dodger attempt. Maybe that other method where one member ATTs everyone would work better.. An exploding spawn cant kill anything if there is nothing in the building to kill!

Somebody could do a forum search and find this thread later (when Tin Mage isn't the WST anymore). They might be looking for an actual MoTin Guide (instead of a "Midnight Dodger.." guide) and wonder why they didn't get MoTin after following the directions, so I thought it was important to point out.

Or so I imagine.

I remember seeing a few posts that outlined the tactics to run a MoTF, but can't seem to find them now. It was possibly a side track in another thread.
Could someone who knows where this is, or has a guide, please link here.
Thanks in advance.
