Switching from hero to villian question

I have a lvl 50 ice/ice defender and want to respect him into the Laviathan patron power pool. My question is once I run enough villian tip missions to become a villian how do I get to rouge island. And where do I find the contact that unlocks this particular patron power?

Thanks for any and all help.

You only need to get to Vigilante to go to the Isles. In fact, you CAN'T become a villain until after you go to the Isles.

Anything that connects to both Hero and Villain zones can be used to travel from one to the other, except PVP zones.
This includes:
-Pocket D
-The Rikti War Zone
-The Midnighter's Club
-Submariner Janus in Independence Port and Sharkhead

Once you are in the Isles, you need to do Villain tips until you become a Villain. You cannot get a Patron as a Vigilante; the contact will only talk to Villains and Rogues.

Once you've switched sides fully, go to Grandville. Just outside the door to Lord Recluse's tower is an Arbiter (Daos, I think). Talk to him and he'll give you a mission to learn about the Patrons. Once you've finished that, you can select one of them as a contact. It doesn't matter which you choose, once you complete the first arc from any of them and get the badge for it, you will unlock all four Patron Pools, and get an earned Respec.

Use the respec (Respec Arbiters are located in Nerva beside the trainer, and in Port Oakes, around the side of the building with the Pocket D entrance). You can only have powers from one Epic Pool, so don't pick any APPs during the respec or it will lock out PPPs.

If you want to change back to Hero, go ahead. Once you unlock Patron Powers, you always have them, even if you change back to Hero, and even if you do a respec while a Hero; they NEVER go away once earned.

This is one of the few situations where villains have a benefit over heroes. A villain can simply switch to being a Rogue and go to Paragon City and then they have access to the Hero Ancilliary Power Pools. They don't even have to fully cross over to being a hero.

Submariner Janus is in the NW corner of IP and in the bay between the cemetary hill with the Freakshow, Hellfrosts, and Circle of Thorn and Cage Consortium Factory in Sharkhead.

The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.

No need for a Villain to go Rogue because as of Issue 18 / Going Rogue all characters [Hero and Villain] have access to the Ancillary sets at level 41 regardless of alignment.

Actually, Villains get access to APPs automatically at level 41, no alignment-changing required at all. You don't even have to have Going Rogue to get access to the APPs.

Close -- it's Arbiter Rein.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that they're generic cookie-cutter characters with no distinct personalities.

And about 20 feet away from each other. Daos is right inside the main building, and Rein is just outside of it.
