Power customization - colour sliders

If we select on the moon, I am assuming that the power tints will be darker, likewise if we brighten it, it will be lighter. Is that the case?

... Unless there's something on on the test/beta servers that I'm not aware of, in the costume/power editing screen the moon/sun icons only make the editor's background darker/lighter so that you can see some colours/shades that might otherwise blend in to the background and be difficult to see.

I always thought the sun and moon icon was to adjust the lighting model so you have an idea what your costume would look like outdoors at night Vs broad daylight.

From what i've seen Grim Heaper is correct; it doesn't change the lighting levels of the costumes at all, just how light or dark the background is.

Dr. Todt's theme.

On most computers, the sun and moon adjust the ambient lighting, to help you see your costume better (as others already said)

On some computers, they do absolutely nothing. It has to do with certain graphics settings being too low.

Either way, they have no effect on your finished costume and/or power customizations.

Even if it does- sort of misleading blueside due to the almost-always-present warwalls and their blue haze.

Thanks for the clarification. I was just checking. Sometimes it's hard to tell if the secondary colour is noticeable.

I find it particularly difficult on powers with a "dark" varient... often in the costume editor I will not see any difference from the secondary colour - just the primary and black - but the secondary colour is there outside the editor.
