If you mean select them as the reward... then no. I selected essence of the incarnate. I selected merits the second run... I was not alpha slotted either time for those runs. I finally created the nerve alpha this morning, slotted that and ran the STF again and still nothing... When I look under my incarnate abilities under convert and it says Notice of the Well breakdown... you need one... it says I don't have one so I'm assuming I still never received it... and as I mentioned before, it aint in my incarnate salvage... this is so weird. I sent a petition, I hope I can get it before the time runs out...
No, you get all the WTF rewards in a lump, before the standard reward table pops. If you didn't get ANY, not the salvage, not the merits, and not the inf., then open your support ticket and see what they say. At this point, it's your only option. The game obviously thinks you've done it before.

I did it 2x before the hotfix and again after the fix. I should be able to see it in my incarnate salvage, right?

Aw man.. then, nope, I don't have it.... I have a support ticket open and hoping they can resolve my issue soon... although I really don't want to have to so the STF again.
Those who lost the reward because of the rollback bug before the hotfix are flagged as having already done it and thus, any more runs this week won't award the special reward.
Use /petition in-game and then follow up with the email you will get.

Ok I was told b/c I did the STF before I unlocked my alpha, I am not able to get the NOTW now. So even though I unlocked my alpha power and ran the STF again multiple times after that, its too late... that doesn't really seem fair... its not like I wanted any other bonuses other than that... good times!!!
I wish you all the best in getting your NOTW, but I can understand how the game mechanic would not award it to you. Without an incarnate slot, you can't get the incarnate salvage. Once you have done the WTF the first time, you are flagged as already completed challenge. It makes sense, but I just hope that it is not WAI and you get your reward.

Yeah I guess its my own fault for not understanding the "rules." They were not going to reward me with the NOTW... They referred me to the forums to post my feedback about the situation so the developers would see it... the best part was that I did the STF not even knowing about the incarnate stuff til later... I happen to be in IP going to the tailor and someone invited me to join... If I would have known, I would have unlocked the alpha first...

Regardless, you would have still gotten double rewards for the WTF.

I just experienced the same issue, even though it seems as though you will be able to get the Incarnate component even if you've run it while ineligible. (The overview even makes mention of a pre-50 toon getting Incarnate Components.. (??))
This is something that should be changed IMO.
It's very counter-productive as far as the game goes... when you like to team up to level (hey, it's fast/easy!) it does not make any sense to *avoid* the content that everybody is doing during the week. Well, given the current fact that you will be unable to get the NOTW of the week if you run it before you're 50 with the slot unlocked, it does.. which is wrong.
At the very least, we should have the option to pick NO added reward for the strike target, until we're ready to get the incarnate component...

If suddenly you could collect Incarnate stuff before being an incarnate, people would suddenly have rares an stuff as soon as they open their incarnate slot, which would be fairly bad design.

What he left out of his original post was that he had also run the same TF this week prior to taking those three steps. I don't think he was deliberately hiding anything, I just don't think it occured to him that anything he did prior to unlocking his alpha should have affected his qualifications for the NoTW after unlocking it. Were I in his situation, I don't know if it would have occurred to me, either.

Firstly, no one is accusing him of hiding anything. What I'm saying is that he overlooked a ridiculously crucial step: he already earned the WTF rewards.
If you don't see a difference between:
Earning WTF rewards, then unlocking Incarnate abilities...vs. unlocking Incarnate abilities, then earning WTF rewards...then there isn't really any point in discussing this anymore.

And without knowing the specific game mechanics before hand, I don't think the omission was really all that ridiculous. As far as the OP knew, the only flag that triggered the NoTW reward was whether or not that specific reward had been earned that week by that character. I imagine I might have thought the same thing had I not read this thread first.
Hi guys,
I'm a lvl 50 dom (hero) with the tier 1 nerve alpha slotted and I've run the STF 3 times but I still did not get the Notice of the Well. I've looked in my incarnate salvage and nothing there. Am I doing something wrong or is anyone else having this problem also?
