Email to Self
Fully support any way to make sending e-mails to yourself more fool proof. A "Self" button would do the trick although I'm sure there are lots of ways to do it.
Would be nice if you could drag-and-drop names from your global friends list into the TO as well.
I doubt they'll ever let us send stacks in an e-mail. It would become the ultimate storage device for inspirations.
I agree completely with #3.
The other two, meh. For starters, how many email applications out there let you email yourself with a single button click? It doesn't make sense. And the delay in sending emails is to keep spammers from crushing the system by sending out thirty seven bajillion emails back to back. Furthermore, it's unlikely that the delay can be separated out based on an email's recipient anyway.
Now, on the other hand, if you'd suggested implementing an email queue, where you can cram say 5 or 10 emails which automatically send themselves out at the rate of one every 15 seconds (as long as you stay logged in), then I could probably get behind that too.

I like the self button that's a great idea. I don't see the devs letting us send stacks of items though. That's the whole purpose of the one at a time feature. To keep us from having the ultimate storage bin.
Keep in mind that the Devs have goals for the game besides, or even opposed to, maximizing convenience for the players. (For example, consider a "Make Me 50" button. Convenient, yes?)

What in the world does "make me 50" button have to do with this suggestion?

That being said I would love it if the devs changed their minds and allowed us to send stacks of items.
Or a button that gives a list of your Global Friends so that you are less likely to typo something.

My feelings are if we can drop a 10-stack in the market I would like us to be able to drop a 10-stack into our email.
Some means to more accurately email would be nice like right clicking on a name or global from the global friends list.
As for emailing to ourselves I would love that but here's what I do in the meantime is I send one test mail to myself and copy the global name out before I send.
Then I paste it in the emails I send after that. It's annoying but safer than typing each time.
total kick to the gut

This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.

I do not suffer from altitis, I enjoy every character of it.
I love that we can use the in-game email system to move stuff between our alts. However, the email system is also very crippled due to its widespread use by spammers. I had a couple of ideas that would make sending emails to onesself easier, without making it any easier on the spammers:
1. Next to the To: field, put a button for "Self". This will auto-address the email to the global name tied to the account in use. This will prevent unfortunate typos and sending stuff into the great beyond/to strangers. The text entry field should probably be greyed out/deactivated after hitting the "Self" button so the spammers can't click this and then change the recipient
2. When the "Self" button has been clicked, remove the 15 second delay requirement. 15 seconds feels very long when you're sitting waiting to click a button.
3. Allow the attachment field to take a salvage stack, like the market or base salvage storage. Sending 1 piece at a time is tedious.
I'm not sure if anyone else has made similar suggestions. I went through a few pages of recent suggestions and didn't see anything about the email system. Unfortunately the board search system seems to return more irrelevant results than anything... Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents out there.
