CoX in Becket's Massive Online Gamer
That's just par for the course. None of the gamer media outlets seem to pay enough attention to CoH to understand that Cryptic isn't in charge anymore. Never mind the fact that Crypic's involvement ended four(?) years ago.
Goodbye, I guess.

It's all part-and-parcel of it being an MMO other than, well, that one. Cryptic still has its name on the product though, which doesn't help the confusion.

read it last night, it was a kind of a rookie mistake. ah well, it was a favorable thing overall, kind of funny that they listed coh/v as taking resources from co due to its bad launch.
Well, in a way you could say they were correct, just not in the way that they thought.

I wrote Game Informer about this a few issues back. They wrote an article about CoH, a nice one but they gave Cryptic credit for AE. They printed a small correction then like an issue or two later made the same mistake thinking Cryptic did CoH still.

NC Soft, and Paragon Studios esp has taken this game to heights Cryptic never even bothered to consider dreaming of, I feel like they should get credit.
Cryptic can go lord over there other games that are not fairing nearly so well.

I was at Barnes and Nobles earlier today, glanced at the magizine section, which basically reviewed the events of 2010, and talked about what was coming up in 2011. CoX was mentioned rather favorably, although with one major downer. The writer of the article didn't seem to realize Cryptic has nothing to do with CoX anymore.
