72 Vet Badge has a question about MMORPGs

Hello--

As the title says, I have my 72 vet badge and have played since i3, with a break around the time CoV went live. I have no plans to leave, so I want to make that clear.

The only other MMORPG I have played is a 2-3 month stint on Anarchy Online, which was my introduction. Being a comic book nerd and bored one day, I bought CoH on a whim and loved it from day 1.

My question is (and I hope this is appropriate here--I didn't see a rule against it in the rules), where does one find information about other MMORPGs? How would I know which fit me and which do not? Again, I don't have plans to leave, but SOMETIME this game may go away and I am not "in the know" enough to know where people get their information.

Thanks for any help.

The best way I have found is to ask people you enjoy playing with what else they play and enjoy. The best guide to any new game is someone who knows and loves it. That said, I thought mentioning other games was taboo on the forums.

Casual...I wouldn't be upset if it was against the rules. I did look and didn't see it. Although, I am not asking for anyone to say a specific name, more I am asking for a website with reviews or something.

I am not bothered personally, just seen other mmo topics draw fire. As for sites I like Massively quite a bit for MMO stuff. However I am serious, ask the folks you group with in the downtime. It is the best way to find stuff other actually enjoy.

As long as no specific names are mentioned the OP is okay, and if anyone wants to make some recommendations they can simply send him a PM.

Have a look at places where they interview the Devs for this game (massively.com, tentonhammer.com etc...) Presumably, such sites will contain similar info for other games.

Always remember, we were Heroes.

Surprisingly, there's actually a website called...MMORPG.com. I think that might have a little bit of information about MMORPGs.
