While it's in character for my main character to kill Rikti and to use lethal force against most threats, she's not the type to kill someone surrendering. She doesn't kill the helpless, no matter how much of an aggravating pain in the **** they may be.

Actually not a dumb question. I've pulled boners like that in the past too.

But no. His bounding box was NOT blue and his HP bars were full.

Honestly, I know this sounds like I'm lying or crazy. This is why I'm so ticked off over this.

I take three runs at him and can't hurt him even a little. Then, on a fourth and last run, I walk right over the top of him. Doing nothing different and playing carefully.

I dunno.

The temporary auto-powers you get for that mission made me chuckle.

Though the fact that one of them gives unresistable damage over time... HIGH damage over time... Makes it kinda less awesome in a way. You can hit one of them with your weakest power, sit back and watch as they lose about 250 HP per second for... a very long time after that. I never actually saw the effect stop.

Seems less natural than, say, doubling your base damage or something...

When I did that with one of my characters that had an annoyance-factor rain power -- one of the ones that does piddly damage per hit, but hits about ten times a second, so you get a fountain of '1's floating up from the mobs caught in it -- and saw that the damage boost was adding damage per hit, so each one of those 1-point hits was getting an additional 320 points of damage added onto it, it was funny to watch the AVs melt as if they were cotton-candy under a firehose... With the Slow effect powers like that have (and the boost to that effect you get for that mission), they don't have a chance to get out of the rain before they go down.

Knock back into lava proceed to kill

You apparently missed all the posts above discussing why it wasn't working.

I have to admit, picking fights with all those AVs on the shattered Ouroboros platform had a suitably epic feel to it. I got a cruel delight out of punching Romulus's clock, as having to repeatedly beat him into the turf in ITFs can get tedious.

Having done that mission twice before, when I did it with my Corruptor I just turned on Walk and ignored them.

It was a very In Character moment for her to just ingore the unimportant annoyances, and casually stroll over to the guy she was after. And then slap him around a bit to make him listen.

RE: Trapdoor.

I was on my Claws/regen. I could get him down 75% health at best and then he would spawn one of his guys. I go kill the guy and come back to see Trapdoor at full health. Rinse and repeat over and over again to head banging on desk levels. There were numerous times he would spawn a guy after a mere three hits. Oh, and if you just so happen to die, he keeps spawning guys even when you aren't there. Fun times. Immobilization and KB help at lot with him. I did eventually beat him, but I've had far less issues with the Praet. EBs than how annoying he was. If he has been easy for you to defeat, then congrats because your experience doesn't line up with everybody else's no matter how many times you have done it. Seriously, three freaking hits and he spawns another guy. That's the very definition of tedious.

RE: The arc

It's actually kind of fun even if I'm not 100% done with it yet. I'll likely just team up for the arc.
