Webcam & headset reviews

So I was thinking about getting a webcam for any skype/video calls I may want to make in the future (to family/friends) and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts/suggestions and/or reviews for any particular webcam(s) and/or headsets.

I'm not looking for top-end realistic performance but something that does its job well for sound/video quality.

Anything I should steer clear of in general?

I really like the kind that wrap around my head, instead of over the top..much more comfy. Right now I have the Logitech Precision PC Gaming Headset

For your needs(if you like the wrap-arounds) I used this one before I went to a more expensive gaming headset.. Not expensive, but good quality.

I don't think I've ever tried the wrap-arounds like that...I usually do over-the-head ones but...yeah I prefer something like those instead of ear pieces.

Thanks for the reply!

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

This set sits great on your head and the sound quality is ok, but between me and my brother we went through 5 of these things in a period of 8 months. Everytime one side would stop produceing sound. And we're not the types to be careless with our equipment.

I have those. I had a pair of Plantronics for about 5 years and they finally gave out. I had a chance to get those Razer ones as refurbs for $40 and I jumped at it. Very happy with them.
