Why would not using Hasten be like fighting with one arm behind your back? o.O
I don't have Hasten on my scrapper, and with it, it doesn't change anything for me at all.

Might not change anything for you, but it could for them!

Hi Rusty, I'm Scooby!
Hi RUSTY!
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
I haven't been playing for over a year (was playing too little to be worth the sub), but I couldn't resists the Steam sale of Going Rogue. So I pick up my level 50 MA/SR and start of the path of the incarnate. I die with Trapdoor, but he dies in the lava by the time I'm back, so no need to work hard. It's only half way through defeating Holtz that I realise I haven't been using hasten. I haven't been using some other useful stuff, either, but not using hasten is like fighting with one leg tied behind your back.
Anyway, managed to die once during that mission, too, but finished it. Stayed up way too late, and coupled with the baby and toddler trouble at night got very little sleep. Still, it was fun. I hope I'll relearn and stop being so squishy. |
If this player comes back after over a year of not playing, and solos it while re-learning how to play their character, I'd say the difficulty level isn't too bad.
Welcome back, Minibromian

Thanks, guys and gals. It's good to be back, even though I probably won't stay for long. I wish there was a more casual friendly subscription or free to play model for CoH.
Welcome back
Although I though this was going to be a thread about the Praetorian Penelope Yin

when is the big-guy resubbing?
welcome back
No, I'm Rusty.
BTW, regarding difficulty, it looks like since I missed the change in the difficulty system, I was playing at default difficulty (previously I played on "rugged").
