Obviously Mirels speech made them saw reason, there is no other explination she'll expect.

Hmmm, now, how to get her to Kings to help put out a fire or two.

It's going to be fun when she gets nearer to the climx of that groups arc, I have to say

I'm curious as to which universe your religious dude came from. o_O

If you're not familiar with it, more hints likely won't help t'be fair. I'll hopefully get to reveal him properly fairly soon

Well, that ended on a rather anti-climactic note.

And that bit in Liar Liar where Jim Carrey suddenly belts out "HERE SHE COMES TO WRECK THE DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!" now springs to mind.

It might however lead us to a breif pause in the action that'll let us do some character exposition/development/backstory stuff though.

At least if Mirel gets her way at booking them into an expensive hotel.

Sooo tempting to break out Social charms, it really is >.>

Escape was to him, the only logical option left. Where is Mechano's robot daughter? Thought she was going to take everyone to one of his warehouses, no?

Just a heads up for all of you, I'm currently busy cramming for a math test on Wednesday so I might not post much for the next couple of days if I do at all.

Shame we seem to be lacking an overall plot direction. What did plot moderators Devious/Mechano have in mind?

Also, who are the characters now involved in this story?

Refugees:

01. Mirel
02. Ildela
03. Ineloo
04. Wanderer
05. Outsider
06. Quicksliver
07. Ethan
08. Amatus
09. Esua (Deceased)
10. Awesometastic Girl

Natives:

01. Other Ildela
02. Sarkh/Oxana
03. Captain Kalkartova & Crew
04. Mechano & Drones
05. Elise (Pinkbot Girl)
06. Eden's Lizardmen
07. Mysterious Stranger
08. Sword-Bayonet Guy
09. Atlas Park Sniper Guy
10. Skycracker/Decepticons

Non-Primary Characters:

01. Detective Mulligan
02. Detective Doyle
03. SWAT Officer Mulligan
04. Shimon & Others
05. Jacub (Incarcerated)
06. Suspicious SWAT/Protectors
07. Arachnos Base Commander
08. Crey Scientist Professor Firenze
09. Atlas Precinct's Captain Ron Belle

Who else was there? :s

Both Ildelas aren't native to this dimension. One's from a different version of primal earth, and the other is praetorian.

I nearly didn't spot that and was ready to say that you'd missed out Derek.
Anyway... "wanderer" is more of a job title for Derek rather than an actual hero name (which was written down as "Derek the Aimless" anyway, if I remember right), so it might be easier just to refer to him as Derek here for the sake of avoiding further confusion.

At least in my case, anyway. I'm expending too much brainpower right now trying to convince my tongue into pronouncing a rolling R at the mo.

We could go with my idea of having a little plot break to give our characters R+R and have a chance to share stories until we kick in with the next arc? What do people think?

Might give us an oppertunity for sweet sweet character development.

Well, at least speaking for myself. Not sure what hole Mechano fell into this time. My first guess would be Portal 2, though. In any case, regarding 'lack of overall plot direction', that's just because I've put that (or at least my part of it) on the back burner as I watch the JWOS* and Decepticon plots progress. Personally, I think there's more than enough material in those to keep us sufficiently bust for a while.

Well, if people actually try and investigate the notably suspicious activities of the Protectors and SWAT teams, given Silver has one hostage and the Gonarov Crew have a SWAT comm unit, I for one thought that was a plot hook. Maybe I'm 100% mistaken and should just give up now. Not like seemingly out of the blue attacks are enough to get people suspicious or anything, apparently... >_<

Oh, and Sword Bayonet Guy isn't a native

Part of the issue Tech is none of the people know what is normal for Paragon, all being non natives, added to the fact the not all know that the others are also non-natives.

Posted

Also added to the fact that the Gonarov Crew are investigating it, I mean they went through the trouble to retreive the SWATs comm units and bring in Silver hostage.

But yea, it's just a case of recruiting the other people who don't know this is out of the ordinary!

(Or in Mirels case no more out of the ordinary then this entire dragons forsaken city)

Aye, I'm working on it. Please be patient. Might take a little longer since I've got to straighten out some things with Pious before I can make my next post, but I'll get around to it.

In addition to Techbot's protectors, this adds another investigation to the list of possible arcs for a later time.

Hmm, so the JWOS are on the back burner now? Well that's a shame. I was actually quite enjoying them. Looks like I'll need to flip through my notes for another invasion force.

I don't remember if Surge of Power from the epic pool has the same -hp/-end crash on it as Power Surge in elec armor does, but I'm RPing it as having it for now.
