Force Feedback question
The page on the wiki is full of VERY old information, and desperately needs to be rewritten. How the proc works now is quite simple:
When you attack with a power slotted with the proc, it has a 10% chance of firing against each target hit by the attack. The proc is set to not stack with itself, so whether you hit one foe or 16, you only get ONE 100% bonus. It no longer causes suppression, however, rather than a buff, it grants a temp power, which means you can only get the bonus once at a time, even if you have it slotted in multiple powers and the fire consecutively. The buff only lasts 5 seconds though.
I wouldn't give up a lot of slots for them, but if you have a few extra, it wouldn't hurt to throw one or two in your biggest (by number of targets) AoE attacks. It'd be a waste in single target attacks though.
@Roderick
In single target powers it's not great, in AoE powers that fire often on a higher recharge character it can be awesome. I have an Armageddon set and this proc in footstomp on my ice/ss and it goes off quite often, substatially raising my average recharge bonus. With huge mobs of bosses I've kept it going for a minute or so.

Okay, that makes a lot more sense. Thanks!

If you put it in one of the Dual Pistols powers that has knockback only when using lethal rounds, does it proc even when you're not using lethal rounds?
It also seems to be working when exemplaring again, or at least it seemed to for me the other day. Honestly, it changes so much I can't keep track of how this proc works.
I do use two of them in the AOEs on an energy blaster and it is very nice in that setting because you can queue the powers together.

The only time the type of proc matters is when it's slotted in a pet (Ranged damage proc won't fire in a pet's melee attack, etc).
@Roderick
I have a couple in my fire/axe tanks AoEs.....they make a noticable difference when I'm farming.

My City Was Gone
Hey there,
So I got a copy of the Force Feedback +Rchg proc the other day. I really felt the entry for this item on ParagonWiki could be clearer. Is this IO worth putting into a char who uses a lot of KB/KD, like an SS or Axe Tanker or Brute?
Thanks.
