Guardian Server's 10 BILLION Event!
well as someone whos on freedom AND virtue AND pinn AND guardian and has gone to hami on other servers lemme just say that when t.a. says their the best at hami they mean it.
infact lemme just say hami on virtue is just down right ugly as far as hami goes. freedoms is alittle better. oh and just so you wanna know..im in the 5th highest earner vg in all of freedom. as cute as 200 mill prestige is..its not even half of what we have on ours.so wouldnt that make me better then all of you?...just food for thought next time we wanna compare prestige or talk it up about whos done what |
Come to a Justice or Champion raid or one of the freedom ones I or Leo leads (as sometimes freedoms can be a bit iffy, though I don't lead much as PvP occupies most of my time.)
Justice and most of the Champion ones I have been to are flawless no retreat usually skipping the last bloom.
Also please note I never said Presty meant a thing what I said is Dr V.s wording is correct. The only way to measure a SG's rank in this game is presty.
I am not so sure why people get so butt hurt over this but it may be a measure of E-Peen. As does a blanket we are the best in the game at X, good for you that in your small world you think you are and need to proclaim so in a event thread. You certainly prove your not the best at community relations. (that was directed at more than just you)
I don't know you and I don't play on Gardian so it's not personal. I do however have a ton of experience running community events and even have my own Community group. (those include hami raids)
It looked like you had a nice turn out Dr. V. If I ever started playing on guardian again I woud love to join your SG. I'm splitting my time on 4 servers atm so don't have time for a 5th. Chasing PvP in this game is hard.

Hi, Everyone!
My goodness, so many new people coming to our Happy Event Thread! Hello!
Thank you so much for all of your congratulations! We of EE really, really appreciate your support.
I just came to mention that I have updated my earlier Review Post of the Event!
It now includes zoomable photos of all the Finalists and Grand Prize Winners of the Costume Contest. Enjoy!
It also includes one of Wei's nice photos showing the EE Drumming Team in action before the Event!
I hope folks keep sharing their experiences of the event here in this thread. It's such fun to see it through someone else's eyes!
I'm looking forward to seeing your photos and post, HalfSlice!
Until then, dear friends!

But I know what you mean about PvP. It's been a long time since I was able to go to a PvP Zone like RV and actually find tons of opponents (or any opponents at all, in fact). These days, we mainly PvP via Arena or Warburg within the SG, as there are a lot of top-notch fighters in our ranks and we want to keep our edge super sharp for the return of Base Raids.

Doc Viv,
I know it's a few days late, but congratz on the great event! It was alot of fun and I'll always have the memory of it. As promised, ALL the Legacy of Paragon turned out to support you, (even if we had alot of DC issues and couldn't remain through the event.) It was all very innovative and fun, and impressively organized. I've always seen the EE around, and I've teamed with you guys a few times, so I don't 100% know how you all run, but I KNOW the players. And that is what keeps me going on this game. It's not how high my SG can climb, or how many raids we perform. As an RP SG we just love the interaction, and I can honestly say, there has never been once I've been let down by EE in anything.
Very proud to call you our Coalies, and just a friendly reminder, Watch yer backs! Legacy's comin! lol just kidding. I hope to continue seeing greatness out of the EE and with you all the best of luck!

Hi Electro!
Yes, we saw you there!
With so many people in Atlas, there were some DC's, it's true!
BUT overall, it went very well! Everyone had a really, really fun time.
Thanks for the good wishes -- we're happy to see Legacy still steadily climbing the ranks!
We'll be waiting for you to arrive in the circle of the Top-10, laurel wreaths in hand!

When I joined CoH back in December of 2006, I logged into this, my first MMO with Major Deej, and was overwhelmed at the breadth, interaction and dynamics that I saw before me. I had never seen anything like this before. Coupled with the heroic music, the sight of the Atlas Statue and heroes flying around in the air, I knew I was instantly hooked, even though I felt like a newborn in the wilds.
I was kindly greeted here on Guardian server by 2 or 3 veteran heroes throughout the day in Atlas Park. In that time:
- They didn't power spam me to join their SGs.
- They didn't try to antagonize me or call me 'newbie' or 'noob'.
- They didn't offer to PL me.
- Instead, they offered to team with me, show me around Atlas and the game, as well as offer up 100K of Inf to help my character get started.
After 'Aguila de Mexico' received his winnings from the EE Event this weekend, I took the time to send some funds to a couple of my other Guardian alt characters. During that time, on those characters:- I didn't power spam anyone to join my SG.
- I didn't try to antagonize new players or call them 'newbie' or 'noob'.
- I didn't offer to PL them (or AE farm, as the equivical these days).
- Instead, I offered four new players over Sunday to team with me, showed them around Atlas and chatted with them, helping answer questions about the game and the intricacies of their powers and their characters (also told them about Guardian global chat), and offered up 1 million Inf to each of them to help their character get started (inflation, ya know).
It was 5 hours well spent. Great conversations, great teaming, and some excited new players.
All it took was a little good karma.
It's what makes this game and the Guardian server what it is.
Thanks to EE and its great event, it helped reminded me what it is to give back to this Guardian community, even in the small ways, thus, this post and my five hours on Sunday.
Here's to good karma and positive motivation. Thanks again, EE.
