Does this include MM pets? I found that quite annoying last year.

The O-Portal is like a rug that gets set on the ice. It's not designed to take on the properties of where it's placed, so you can't slide over it. Like putting pets or anything else on the ski slopes it's considered griefing, and will get you banned when you are reported.
I couldn't do the slide if my life depended on it.Three things usually happen.
1) I go flying off into space over the side of the hill.(97%)
2) I plow into a tree,rock and/or the chalet(yea figure that one out) (2%)
3) I run someone over sending them to the hospital (1%)
I have the missus play my toon to get the badges she is like Frostette the snowchick sliding down the hill. 
I think I got the first bronze one, by accident, once. On a single character. I dislike the fact that they've tied badges to something that takes spastic skill and fine motor control, but at this point I don't care any more.

Sad thing is it's the D and players can do it. So most who will eventually try to do said thing, wont even pay attention to the unanimous decision most of us share on the matter. That's just my advice, do what you can and then give it up. Day 1 maybe fun and enticing but a day or so passes and someone will think it's "funny" to ruin anothers day.
If they could just limit specific powers to activate in only certain areas, it would be fine. I don't want to ban the Ourobos Portal form the D entirely but limiting it to the club side would be fine.
As for MMs, only one person out of the many MMs that use pets actually used them respectively instead of carrying around a horde. Unfortunately this one person is shadowed over by those who summon the pets specifically to grief other players and in doing so ruins it for the many others who gave ideas some thought for some pretty convincing storyline. I'd say Pets especially shouldn't be allowed in the Chalet for this festival.
