MoTin, specifically midnight dodger.
Kinda silly to call the AoE damage immunity to the mines as a 'nerf'; they were not supposed to be targetable - that kinda makes it clear that they don't want players destroying them with firepower right?

yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever. This is like the change to Trapdoor. Bug fix? Exploit fix? We can't tell without knowing the Devs' *INTENT*. We don't know if they consider it a bug fix or it was done purely in reaction to players finding a strategy that didn't occur to them.

Therefore, the AoE damage and pets hitting them would be a "bug/exploit".

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.
Making a TF that's explicitly designed to be hard harder because people were doing something that made it easier is not 'screwing you.'

Makes getting the badge a little tougher, well, that's the point of the badge
If you're not going after the badge, then it's not really a problem.
BrandX Future Staff Fighter

After participating in several unsuccessful attempt to get this badge, I formed my own team last night on Virtue and we got the midnight dodger badge on our first try (due to the awesomeness of my teammates more than my own awesomeness)
The team consisted of:
2 controllers with FF secondary
2 blasters
1 dominator
1 scrapper
1 brute
1 tank
I believe we had 2 bio nukes, at least 1 chem nuke, 4 or 6 people with shivans and about 5 HVAS plus a few snowbeasts and everyone on the team had some form of hover or fly power .
Our strategy was as follows:
1) fight from the copter to the door
2) gather outside and make sure no one goes in yet.
3) apply forcefields, summon all pets, and apply buffs including bio nukes
4) run inside together and click all glowies then converge on director 11
5) all teammates hover away from floor and avoid rafters and racks to be safe
6) pummel director 11 with pets and ranged attacks and holds until he is defeated.
Success!
Notes:
we didn't seek out any specific ATs during recruiting although ranged damage and immobilizes would probably make things go faster. I don't know if the forcefields were a key factor or not but defense was pretty high and that may have helped.
We did not actually get all the glowies in time to stop the first clockwork spawn and director 11 did not go down in under 30 seconds but we managed to dispatch him fairly quickly.

Thanks for putting it together Psibug! I was that brute using the rusty old Goldbricker jetpack . Finally got myself the MoTM. I'm not a badger, but for some reason, getting that one felt good.
If you have fly and happened to be a ranged fighter, you can always just stay off the ground. I did this and managed to get the badge. I also hid in the rafters if I was worried about getting attention from Clockwork.

For me, the 3 nukes for everyone on team and shivan/HVAS strategy worked wonders. Just hover between the floor and ceiling, away from any surfaces, and be careful not to aggro the AV directly.

AoE attacks were, hence it was a bug - they fixed it.
