Quit to Character Screen Bug

It doesn't make much sense, but sometimes your character hasn't yet logged out of the game. Since you can't have two characters logged in at the same time, it kicks you out.
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. I had no problem with this on test, but it didnt work ONCE for me yesterday.
The hard things I can do--- The impossible just take a little bit longer.
If numbers are so much more important than a teammate who is fun to play with, forget about the game altogether and go play with a calculator instead. -Claws and Effect-
It hasnt worked for me at all on live servers. Not sure what the deal is on that.

This happened to me the first time I tried it; since then it works OK.
I don't understand why we still have to wait 30 seconds, though. I guess it's for PVP, so you can't just disappear in the middle of a fight, but it really makes no sense in PVE and it's a serious drag.
Actually I think the "logged-in" issue may be a big part of the problem.
Normally the countdown to logout is 30 sec. When I try to logout to selection screen the timer always starts at 27 sec instead. Maybe whether I'm still logged in or not then depends on server lag processing that last 3 sec.

yesterday i had no issues with this and i used it about 4-5 times, today first time i used it, it said was already logged in and went back to login
Same for me - it worked on the Beta server every time as I recall, but now on Live, it has been hit and miss - out of 5 log out to character selections it logged me off with the "already logged in" message at least 2 of them - maybe 3 (it was late ... 
)

I'm finding it's a bit of a crapshoot for me as well...
Sometimes it works perfectly, sometimes it boots me all the way back to
the login screen.
Here's hoping they get it working consistently as it's a great feature for
us folks with lots of alts.

I'm finding that ~60-70% of the time that I hit "quit to character screen" it quits all the way to the login screen instead.
Not game-breaking, but basically the feature is not working consistently. Anyone seen a fix for this or having this issue?
