Q1) What are the steps we should take if we want to take advantage of this deal?
A1) Starting at 9:00AM EST, on November 29th, 2010 through 11:59PM EST, December 13th, 2010, log into your NCsoft account management page. Then click on the link for your City of Heroes Game Account. There will be a clickable banner ad promoting this opportunity. If you click on it, it will take you to a page where you can change your payment plan without cancelling your account.

Q2) If I have time remaining on my subscription, can I still take advantage of this offer?
A2) Yes. By selecting the promotional payment plan, you will benefit from the bonus subscription time once your current subscription runs out.

Q3) When will I be charged for the new plan?
A3) This is a payment plan. You only pay when the billing cycle comes to renew again. So there is no payment required to select the promo payment plan.

Q4) If I’m set to auto renew in between the dates of the promotion, will I get the benefit?
A4) No. However, during the time of the promotion, you can reselect your billing plan and get the bonus time.

Q5) If I got the bonus subscription time during the last promotion, am I eligible for this new promotion?
A5) Yes, you are.

Q6) Do I need to cancel my plan in order to take part in this promotion?
A6) While the bonus subscription time promotion is active, you do not need to cancel your subscription plan in order to take part in the offer. Clicking on the banner ad in your account management page will allow you to select a new plan without cancelling your subscription plan.

The banner is actually on the "Game Account Details" page for the City of Heroes account. (Log In -> "NCsoft Account Management" -> "Game Accounts" -> "City of Heroes/City of Villains Game Account Details".) It is not located on the NCsoft Account Management page as stated in the announcement and FAQ. That might cause some confusion.

That's what I needed to know. I was looking under the "Account Management Page" as was noted in the listed FAQ. Thank you.

12+2? I'm only seeing 6+1 on the account management page, no mention of 12+2. Is 12+2 unavailable to us Europeans or what?

Somehow, I think if it were totally up to NCSoft, European players could enjoy the same benefits the NA players get, but maybe that's just crazy talk. Thinking that they're doing it on purpose doesn't make any sense.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

I'm well aware that this may be due to legal issues or something similar.

But as a customer, I just don't care.

I'm guessing you'd prefer they not offer the 12+2 to anyone, if they can't offer it to everyone? I suspect that saying so directly would be viewed as more constructive feedback than a sarcastic "Nice job".

Otherwise, blaming the company for something you admit is outside of its control makes relatively little sense.

I have to agree with both parts of your statement, but at the same time I can't blame the guy for feeling like he's being gypped.
