The Time Has Come...
Thanks for your support peeps...
This is the start of bigger and better things ...

We're excited to be focusing ALL of our attention on Champion, now.

Thanks, Dazz, Cherry, Fanged, and Starforce for all the work you've done for Champion, as a part of PERC or otherwise. I look forward to see what y'all have planned.
@Celestial Lord and @Celestial Lord Too
Interesting.
Looking forward to the "new" stuff and all that jazz. Thanks again Cherry, Dazz, Fanged, Starforce and Pound for all you did.
I might suggest forming up a separate Champion Server events group not affiliated with PERC in any way. In which ya'll potentially hold more engaging events. I imagine this is a subject already under discussion by some of the Champion reps.
Consider this the opinion of Force, and noone else. I for one felt that the PERC events lacked actual game-play and aside from the occasional Hamidon Raid lead by Dazz or Cherry was very lack luster, as well as mind numbingly boring.
Obviously most wouldn't share my opinion however I'm here to play the game and play it to the best of my ability while having fun. I pride myself (as I imagine many do) on having solid characters and playing them extremely well, not dance on a pier, dressing in black, or dressing like a badge. CoH isn't about those things, and while they had a decent turnout it very much seemed that many of the participants show'd up less for the event and more to support the PERC members here on Champion that many of us have come to call friend.
In the later time of PERC it seemed that PERC was just a title for many and did not actually accomplish much in the community.
Space reserved for a super awesome Signature, someday...
You can always do what a few of us on Justice did and start a server events group (-all the committee bs), I still get OCR support when I ask for it.

Congrats to Champion, for throwing off the shackles of the running dogs of the oppressor state.
Also, lolPERC.
If it's any consolation to you guys, PERC will form a subcomittee to discuss this and release a statement in 2-5 years.

If you haven't joined a global channel, you're not really looking for team.
It is no longer about PERC and its false sense of committee and resourcefulness. It is about the COMMUNITY! Events ran BY the community FOR the community.

All that said, thanks to you folks for the work you did and here's to future success (and more importantly FUN) to you and your server.
It's the people that matter.

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link...
Yadda yaaddaaa..
Maybe we can get some [Server] events now.. not strictly Bluesie after blueside after blueside stuff.. *glares at Force and the extra Hamis for only blueside* or post GR we still don't see a SFX like TFTuesdays.. Or the 'tank only event'.. pshaww at the segregation'
/shrug.. we all play what we want and have fun doing.

We are always here for advice and will help in anyway we can.
Unfortunately not all of our events can cater to everyone.

Thanks to GR, nearly anyone can attend. Blueside isn't really only Blueside anymore. It's literally just a zone now with a level requirement and be a Rogue, Vigilante, or Hero.
Funny you should mention this. Strike Force only Events, along the exact same lines o' Task Force Tuesday, have been attempted at least three times on this server, much to no avail. The reason they didn't last is mainly due to lack o' attendence. Hard to have an event when no one shows up. Tanker Tuesday is the longest runnin' Player Event in the history o' CoH. If Brutes existed when the Event was first created, that might've played a factor. Except Tanker/Brute Tuesday doesn't really roll off the tongue as well. If all you're goin' to do is play, then don't complain when there isn't a specific Event for you. |

WOW! I have nothing but major kuddos for you all! The support you have always presented us has been nothing short of stellar!
I'm not gonna quote everybody and their past statments but you all ECHO the exact sentiments all us REPS had as we decided to leave. It was quite clear we heard all of your thoughts and knew the time was now to leave PERC and focus on our server! We are in the works to develop a server specific entity that is heavily focused in incorporating every ounce of our servers population and putting out a wide array of events that capitalize on every aspect of the game (this includes CoV zones, actual gameplay, etc.). We knew as well that many of you supported US and not PERC and that it was time to leave the cookie cutter establishment and start something that was more real, raw, and representative of the community. As we take the next steps I am proud to hear you all echo your sentiments, thoughts, comments, and feedback. I hope you will all join us in our new avenues and continue to have the voice you have now. I do not want one soul to be misrepresentated as we take the next steps. It is going to be a most marvelous journey!

I agree with you that in general (regardless of server) villain events have poorer attendance. That said someone asking for more villain events should not be dismissed since it can help Daz et al. as they move forward with their new Champion group know what the community desires. @warboss (nuclear medicine) just started a Brutal Monday event under the Justice Events banner and the opening night was highly successful. I was surprised that we had 3 full teams of brutes running. It's hard to anticipate what will be well attended so i would think all suggestions would be welcome. Then again i still don't know the server/people dynamic's of champion yet.

Dear Champion,
First and foremost, thank you for your continued support over the past years of PERC and all of its events. Without your support none of them could be the huge success they continue to be. It is because of you that we are who we are and that we have got to where we are. All we can do is say, THANK YOU! If you were at the Black Friday Game Night last night, then you probably heard our message last night. All of the Champion PERC Representatives have made a slightly difficult decision to leave PERC. Last night, was the last event you will see from the many familiar faces that have represented PERC over the past few years. While there are many personal reasons that will not be discussed, the most important message was clear; PERC is not your voice. Our focus over the past few years has always been to be your support and work to clean up the tarnished image PERC once had. While we had thought that we had met that goal, the outcome was not legit. PERC, simply put is not supporting you the way you deserve. PERC was full of false pretenses and was more of a misrepresentation of what many of the games communities and populations actually were. While it may have been a upward battle or non-completable challenge, there were too many forces working against it. Those forces varied but most importantly came from within. PERCs motto was not being upheld and the community voices were not being given care and a proper voice. This is simply why we had to leave, our main objective was not achievable and our communities were not being given the support they deserved. You guys (our community) noticed this too however and spoke out. You pleaded for change and voiced your opinions in abundant numbers. This was first witnessed last January, when Champion filled Pocket D to the brim and brought a tidal wave of support for PERC to utilize throughout the entire year. NEVER has this been seen on any other server or any other event. It was then that we should have listened to our public and heard the true outcry for support they were asking for. Yet, we failed to ignore the first calling sign, but thankfully you all did not give up. Throughout the rest of the year you continued to speak and plead for support and finally that day as come. All of us that have served on PERC are realizing the true message and are evolving our commitment to Champion. We no longer need a specific banner to run under, a specific motto to follow, or a false committee to represent. We already have the true essence of what player events are, our Community. Without you guys, we are nothing. With you guys, we are everything. As long as we have your support we can achieve any event goal set we desire. It is no longer about PERC and its false sense of committee and resourcefulness. It is about the COMMUNITY! Events ran BY the community FOR the community. Our population no longer needs PERC, it needs each other. A support system we have had all along and failed to notice and capitalize on. While it can be difficult to walk away from something you have invested a large amount of your time and energy into, I support your decision.
It is not necessary to belong to a committee to run events for other players. You just need to be willing. There are many people on our server willing to help in various capacities, be it donating funds, leading events, generating ideas, etc. We should appreciate these resources for what they are: members of the Champion community.
I have great confidence in the abilities of our (now former) PERC reps, as well as many other players on the server, to continue to make Champion a rockin' place to be.
