Just a reminder: There is one more new Futurama episode this year, the Holiday Special! It will be Tales of Interest-like in concentrating on the 3 major holidays in the future: Xmas, Robonakah, and Kwanzaa.

It airs tonight on Comedy Central at 10 PM EST and reairs at 11 PM.

And they'll be giving out the traditional Kwanzaa gift!

Goodbye, I guess.

Is it just me or is having an Xmas special before even frickin' Thanksgiving just a little bit...much? I mean, dang it, they've been advertising that holiday since Halloween. A local place already has Xmas trees available (and not the fake ones, real trees!). I'm just waiting for the point when they start advertising on Dec. 26th as "JUST 364 MORE DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS!!11!11!1!!".

Passed by a sign board in front of a smallish store that read...

Shop here, we don't play Christmas music in November.

That would get me to at least stop in and see what they were offering...even if it was just tires or dentistry...

To be fair, it was also a "Robonakuah" special too, and well, Hannukah starts in about two weeks!

I was watching it but I found it, oh bad, so I stopped. I guess I will give it another shot when it reruns but it just seemed, again well bad, when compared to the original 2 X-mas episodes.

I was really put off when Santa clobbered Zoidberg. He will always be the "good" one to me because of the first one and I enjoyed that.

I hope it was just that I wasn't feeling well and I will like it when I try watching it a second time.

total kick to the gut

This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.

Yes, yes but will there be enough petroleum oil for the traditional number of weeks of floozy-bot oil wrestling?

Of course. They went to Vassar and I know their standards are high.

Robo Santa was at his best in the 2nd X-mas episode and in Bender's Big Score.

Though isn't it funny that all of Earth cowers in terror at the mention of Santa and his once a year massacre/rampage, yet the other days of the year, they don't mount a military force to destroy him? Then again that would mean Zap Brannigan would be in charge.......sigh.

I believe they sell lawn trackers, riding mowers and snow blowers. The big John Deer kind. But their sign board always has something funny on it.

It's located at a fork in the road. One year someone didn't veer left or right and went straight through the front window. The next day their sign board read, "Yes we're open. No, we're not adding a drive through."

I just watched it, and I didn't care for it much either. Prolly the weakest of the new season.
