I think the new season is off to a good start though I was a bit disappointed that last season's cliffhanger ending was resolved in the pre-credits intro rather than it basically being a 2-part episode. Also missed Bear McCreary's score. The new music just isn't as good as his. I like the addition of Ilsa Pucci. Not sure how I feel about Ames yet but I'm willing to give her a few episodes to see how it goes.

I was wondering if I were misremembering the credits or what. Obviously they were expanded for the new regulars, but the song seemed different.

I thoroughly enjoyed the episode -- the new guy kept all the stuff that worked about the first season and expanded the scope in terms of area of operation and size of the cast. great action scenes, nice twists and humorous dialogue. What's not to like?

Not too thrilled with the changes to the opening theme, but I agree. Awesome episode!

I especially loved the new girl's reaction when Winston called Guerrero by name and her cocky attitude just vaporized when she realized who she was dealing with. Man's obviously got quite the rep.

Shonuff was as succinct as ever, but one problem. What happened to "The Old Man"?????? Even when they showed a recap of the chopper scene he was editted out! I Hope they aren't just gonna drop that story.. he needs to reappear and wrap things up with "junior".

And again.. with Just a few lines.. Guerrero stole the show!! The best Guerreroism of the night?

Good episode, but it really sucked that we had several episodes building up to last year's climax, which is then resolved in 3 minutes.

Imagine if Issue 21 comes out. It's great and exciting and brings us right up to the Coming Storm. We meet Villain X, who is so powerful a team of 6 Incarnates might not be able to defeat him. Next issue... The Coming Storm!!!!

Some time after issue 21, the dev team is replaced with new people. Issue 22 comes out with a new TF. Excited to see what happens with TCS, you start the TF. The first mission lasts 15 minutes and at the end, you defeat Villain X using Brawl. Then missions 2 through 6 set up a new story arc created by the new devs, going in a brand new direction, because the Coming Storm-- which has been built up for several issues-- is already over.

That's how I viewed this episode.

I thought for sure we'd have a few episodes dedicated to the story as presented last season, including more time with the old guy and I was expecting hints that the girl he thought died wasn't really dead.

But it was still a fine enough episode.

Theme song sucked though, they need to bring back the old one.
