Hide and Mids

I was doing a build for a stalker but noticed I couldn't find a way to show the hide defence stats while in combat. If I turn it on I get the hidden stats which aren't a huge help really cos it's my combat defence I need to check. Is there anyway to check this, or do I just need to check the numbers in game and add them on?

The default is actually the "while in combat" number: 1.88%.

The unsuppressed, hidden, out of combat numbers are: 3.75% Melee and Ranged and 37.5% AoE Defense.

Is it showing 37.5% or 1.88% AoE Defense (note it will round in totals up to 1.9%)?

@Gilia1
I play heroes on Champion.
I play villains on Virtue.

Pretty sure it was showing the 37.5 muber. Just checked and it's giving me AoE 39.4% and 5.6% for everything else bar Psi. Which doesn't match the power description.

The version I'm using at work has Leo's I19 patch so I'll check on the native version at home tonight and see what I get.

Just go into the database editor and delete the parts that suppress, then it'll show you the right numbers.

My mids also shows the full hide def by default.

You could just turn off Hide. Mouse over, see how much defense it says it grants in the corner Power Descriptor, and then add then add that to the final defense numbers.

Seeing as how that's usually around 2-3% Defense, it's not hard math.

Problem is, its not just hide that does that.

Stealth also suppresses, and shows the unsuppressed value. Some stalkers have both powers in their build for PvP reasons, (granted, pvp is subject to DR, and thats a different animal) but it does make the math a little harder then just adding a few %'s.

Same rule applies. Dont click it on, so the window doesn't show it, look down in the corner, see what the number is, add it in.

Much like Hide, Stealth suppressed is going to give roughly 2-3% Defense, it's easy math still.

On my laptop I have an older version of Mids, v1.8, which had problems with epic pool values, but had the combat defense listed. It is very nice, which is why I have yet to update to v1.81...

You might want to write into the Mids forums about that. It is so nice not to have to do the math in your head, which is kind of why people use Mids in the first place...

Also, most personal stealth powers suppress halfway when revealed, while most AoE stealth powers do not...
