I'd say go Rogue as that one will allow you to accrue progress towards the red side DJ as well as grant you access to the relevant zones with new exploration badges. Alignment has no effect gold side so you're safe there.

Rogue is the best. You need to be a villain to get the new redside arc badge but you can join a team of someone of the right level to get the hero ones. everything else is as long as you can explore both sides.

No single alignment will allow you to get every badge. Right off, there are a handful of day jobs on each side that can not be earned by 'the other side'. i.e. Some that only a villain or rogue can get, and some that only a hero or vigilante can get.
You can get PROGRESS toward the day jobs as a 'visitor' but, to actually be awarded the badge, you'll have to change alignment at some point.

I've made my Hero Scrapper a Vigilante. I'll have to switch to Villain at least once more to get the last couple of Day Jobs I need, and to flashback the new Villain Arc (I tend to solo a lot, being on at random times), but unless it's needed, I plan to stay Vigilante.
I'll have access to the entire game, so no matter what event is happening or team is running, I can participate.

My main badging characters are currently sitting as Rogues with 10 alignment points "in the bank" towards Hero. Basically I plan to have them stay Rogues for the time being (to earn credit for the Red side Day Jobs they need) but they are basically ready to "go Blue" pretty much instantly if needed for any unforeseen near-term I19 badging situation.

Hello everybody,
my main badge alt is currently a Villain Scrapper.
Apart from 2 day jobs and their accolades, I now have all the redside specific badges I can collect. The few other badges I need can be progressed irrespective of alignment.
So in prep for the new issue going live I am wondering which alignment will be the best for me to switch to?
I am just guessing at Rogue, which will allow me to carry on with accumulating my DJ's time but also get me access to both Red and Blue for the new explore badges and both the new TF's/Story arc's?
I have the GR expansion, but have deliberately not rolled an alt there so that my main badger will be my first time experience of Praetoria.

Any responses/thoughts/guidance et cetera will be most welcome.

PS. Speed of collection is not the most important factor, minimising any backtracking/reworking is a factor.
