Outdoor Base: City Street?
Most of the "outdoor" settings I've seen have been in a "park" or "woods"... but I do recall a clever little "cabin".
I could see making facades with desks/counters, using ramps as "awnings" and tiles for sidewalks. There are plenty of lamp options that could be used for streetlights. Windows and doors might be a little tricky, but I'm sure there are more ideas out there.

That sounds like an awesome idea Sadron.
It occurs to me that crystal balls elevated might make acceptable lights
Enjoy your day please.
I have done some "forested" outdoor settings, thought the base is in the middle of a revamp I do have a couple of combination indoor/outdoor rooms done.
The arcane stone blocks would make good stone walls if you want a more rustic look with the thin wood cabinets for doors. Desks and the redwood bookshelves make good wooden walls (the other bookshelves cause too much gfx lag when used in large numbers). Glass windows are easy enough with the glass SG logo stands (wall banners can make some awsome drapes ^.^). Small desk lamps hovered to max height can make a good starfield overhead. I like Banshee's idea of the crystal ball .. maybe clip it into one of the large rectangular overhead reading lamps ....
You will probably have more luck using the larger decor rooms than the smaller 2x2 unless you have very narrow streets.
Check the link in my signature. I have done most of my base as outdoor style. Its not a completely up to date gallery, more is on the way. But there are a couple of pictures that might help you. You'll want to look at the Pictures with the labels:
Great Hall Original = You'll want to look at the Miyuki Gravel with Brown and Green colors. This can be used to represent grass and dirt.
City Street 1 = Using "Rubble 3" from the "Room Details" tab, you can make a street that has no clipping.
City Street 2 = Another image of the streets with no clipping. (note: this takes a little whole depending on how large of a street you want to make.)
Armory & ALchemy Lab = outside concept of buildings I made for the city streets.
Gladiator Arena = look at the ceiling. Its supposed to be something like a glass roof that you can see the sky through. or you can just try to color the black bars the same color as the sky to make it all appear one color. In the gladiator room i used light blue for a daytime sky, in the Tavern picture i used dark puple for a night sky.
THe last idea i figure you could use, is if you take a banner, and change SG colors both to black, and place banners all the way around the room, it looks like its just surrounded by darkness. Combine that witht he night time sky and it would have a nice effect.
Good luck and hope some of these ideas help.

I am in the process of making a dojo with a park-like area around the outside of the room (theres a path between the trees and the dojo). When i built up the dojo walls i left some holes so i could make windows then put in a couple of those glass stands floated up. Works wonders and with the sg emblem it adds a nice touch too
To make a nice looking park-y area, drop the floor down where you want it, fill the space with some potted plants (the short ones) then add in a few trees and bushes. Do it right and you can't see the pots just the greenery.
Will try and get some shots later of my dojo and my tp park room to show off

At one time I had a huge, really huge outdoor area...it was the three largest rooms possible, with doors all the was across.
I was able to do some nice stuff there, but since they removed the double doors ability, it's long gone (beause I keep redoing my base!)
Hey all! I'm thinking of attempting a base that would essentially try to be a small back street at night with various bars and shops along the way.
Has anyone tried anything like this? Does anyone have examples of outdoor settings within a base?
Side Note: I'll only have about 3 million prestige to work with, so I can't do anything elaborate and will probably be relying on 2x2 rooms.
