You always seem to use the same face, right?
Radianha and Vanesa are awesome.

Took this on the test server, because I'm too broke... but Atomic looks fantastic on my Grav/Kin, the Hour Thief:

I had trouble coming up with a look for Fenghuang (Chinese Phoenix), until I saw the Cape of the Eighth Circle. That made everything else fall into place.

These auras do not screenshot well, but that will not stop me.

Some swirly symbols (Yellow Signs?) for Slave to Unreason


Steam/pneumatics jets for the powered armor worn by Final Option


Sparks go nicely with electric armor


And this is only the beginning.
I like this pack.

I still haven't found a character to use Sparks on. It wouldn't fit my Elec/Elec Scrapper or Brute's themes.

I can't afford the pack... and somehow missed out on the giveaway. Apparently was in the wrong Pocket D. :P


Anyhow, if I can ever manage to scrape together the cash for it (and not feel guilty for neglecting something else), the leaf aura and cape are going on this character:




And maybe put the steamjet aura on my big robot cowboy, Iron Desperado.

The best part of these to me is the combat only options! I rarely want my entire toon obscured the whole time I play them, but I love having these auras pop on to show a use of power!

So far...


Puzzle Pook rarely wears clothing, but I did have a "cloak-and-vest" combo for chilly days. Now the cloak has leaves and sheds them too The plant/TA version of Puzzle has the leaf aura on hands in combat-only She's in her Autumn coloration phase currently.


Opal actually got the most costumes changed by this, as all of them now have the runes aura in combat-only in deep blue She also got the Impervium cape on her armor costume..


And the Cloak of the Circle on her martial arts costume.


Opal's cousin Echo also got the rune eyes-and-body combat aura, but in white! She's using the Magic cloak too.


The corruptor version of my WS got a dark purple thundercloud "body and eyes" combat effect to make her even more WarShade-y!


RadLad got the Unified Field cloak on his armor, and the Atomic aura in bright green as a combat option!


Aguara, my Earth/Rad controller (with Rad colored brown to maintain the "earth shaman" powerset look) got the Thunderclouds in brown on her fists as a combat option to look like she's pulling magic through earth


Silvia Fiorella Pook, my dryad (currently also in her Autumn phase!) got the leaf aura on all her costumes. She's also got the leaf cloak on one or two.


My malfunctioning Clockwork girl Sparkdance got the sparks aura (of course!) on one of her costumes. The other costume is exactly the same, but no sparks, so I can swap to it whenever she "shorts out."

Fine, fine, Bass called me out in-channel, and I figured I might as well add some I was happy with...



Nuclear Hazard looks pretty spiffy with his new Atomic aura, even if it's a little hard to see in a quick screenshot.

...and the Impervium cape does fit my shiny (and I mean shiny) new Kin/SR scrapper very well. The atomic aura for the fists was another possibility here to go with Kin Melee, but for what I wanted from him Alpha worked just a tad better.

Now, my Ill/Rad controller really got some use out of the pack.



The tarot cards really work quite well for Pretense, since her main costume is basically a stage magician/illusionist.



But the runes fit some of her other "magic woman" personas a little better (and the new magic cape works well with the witch wardrobe).

For a bit of an experiment, I tried to see what the cool new bio plasma aura would do when put on top of fire shields. So I have a greenish aura, a blueish fire shield, a purpleish plasma shield... it combines nicely to give me that "strange radioactive shimmer" my meteor-infected scrapper, Meteor-Strike, was looking for. And yes, that and the Omega pieces finally gave me the excuse to try out one of those spine/fire scrappers I keep hearing so much about...

Haven't even had time to keep going through my alts and add the auras to all the ones that can use them, but I figured I'd share one last one for now. Given the recent events, and the timing of the pack, I did have one more idea. I think this will be the goal for my new dark/dark corr, but I didn't create him in time to nab myself a zombie EB. So if you see any more zombies out on Pinnacle, give me a shout so I can grab Unearthly Presence. But for now, Gothic Horror will model the look for me...
