How do I get ths water?

If you are talking about the blue areas in the example pictures:

Those are selection squares, not water.

The closest we can get to "water" is by using slow fields.

===========================================

The lowest floor is the lowest players can place things. However, you can place things on the floor and sometimes raise the floor level to embed objects into the floor. Other than that, you can use other objects to make a new "floor" and have objects lower than that. See the stacking guide for examples.

Hi,

It's called a Slow Field. I just put one in my base too.

You need a Defensive Room, and an Advanced Work table. IT's a defence item that you craft.

Once you craft it, you'll find it in your Personal Items option.

The Miyuki floor tile works best (so I've been told - I'm currently at work so can't say yes to this 100%) and you colour that tile blue. Once you do that, you place the Slow Field on top of it. Usually, you stack it on top of a safe or something, then just delete the safe.

Hope that helps!

Enjoy your base!

Slow fields looks like crap with ultra mode. I wouldn't use it personally.

Not to me. o.O what settings are you on?

Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.

Yeah, it matters what you have your ultra mode water settings at.

fix't that for ya.

I found that it did indeed look crappy without ultra mode, because I had an older graphics card that I was unable to run water settings on very high.

Once I got my new card (thanks to hubby for the b-day present), I was able to run the water settings higher, and the slow fields do indeed look much better.

The crystals, on the other hand, still look like crap.

Just for clarification. Slow fields can be put in any room that allows defensive items, not just the defensive rooms. I have a couple slow fields in my Teleportation Room in one base.

This is not entirely true. Certainly Defensive rooms work, but there are other rooms as well. The large workroom, control rooms, power rooms...etc. I think even a TP room (but not sure). All of these have limited defensive abilities, but they do hold slow fields to some extent.
