I sent out your winnings and the perf shifter chance for +end yesterday.

Players from P3 banked a total of 250million and each player who participated recieved: 31.25million.

Players from PH banked a total of 350million and each player who participated recieved: 50million.

So far Victory PvP has handed out 2.36 Billion inf in prize money, along with 18 Karma Kb ios, 7 Crafted Kismet +acc, 8 Kismet +acc recipes, and 15 Perf Shifter Chance for end.

Chop- Its going really well, this group of players have way surpassed my expectations as far as devotion and dedication to learning and trying team based pvp.

(that thing that we talked about on that ITF is still in the works, I need to round up a few more people for it).

I feel nostalgic reading this.

Oh the nostalgia.

Us old farts always feel nostalgic when young whippersnappers do stuff we would have been proud of in the day.

This week’s matches will be 6v6's (we will run 8v8's if both teams can field 8 players).


Rules:

1)Alpha slotting is allowed and recommended for this week's matches.

2) Matches will be set to SHW, with Heal Decay and Travel Suppression turned off, small inspirations only.

3) Any and all characters that a player has (on their global account) is eligible for this event, you are not limited to just the PvP U character you created. Stalkers will be limited to 2 per team per round.

4) All players must be played at least once.

5) The following maps are legal: Atlas, Skyway, Steel, Graveyard, Cargo Ship, and Perez Park.

6) Resets on maps due to crashing/zoning errors/vent crashes are allowed once per round, per team, within the first 2 minutes of the match.

Points:
Win= 5 pts
Tie= 2 pt
Loss= 0 pts

Note: there will no longer be attendance pts.


Both teams will submit lineups via private tell to me, once both teams have submitted a lineup I will broadcast it and the teams will take turns listing the event and selecting the map.

Round 1: P3 will list and select map.
Round 2: PH will list and select map.
Round 3: P3 will list and map will be random (resets on maps not playable this week).

Prizes this week:

Each team will bank 200 million per win, 125 million per tie and 50 million per loss. These funds will be divided up equally amongst the team members who show up for all 3 rounds (if you have to leave early or show up late, it will be up to your team captain as to if you will receive your portion of the funds).

Question: When it says we "list" that means we put our whole team roster out there and cannot change it no matter what the other team brings? Just want to make sure I know what's going on

I knew it was a 10 pt difference, I guess between the time I looked it up and typed it my mind had wandered.

My availability, for reference:

Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 9pm EST or after
Tuesday/Thursday: 11:30pm EST or after
Saturday: Between 7pm and 9pm EST or after 11:30pm EST
Sunday: 8pm EST or after

This is for January. My weekend schedule should open up quite a bit starting next month. Weekdays will stay about the same.
From February on, pretty much the only weekend time that won't work for me would be Saturdays from 9-11:30pm EST as I have another weekly committment at that time.
Looking forward to not working so many weekends anymore.

Well now that the Champ league is over my schedule is open until Freedom starts... which should be soon... Most likely though it'll be in the same time slot. So assuming it is... my "free days" for this event if you do decide to change the match times are Sat evening, Mon evening and Thurs evening. If I don't end up joining the Freedom league then I will have other days open. For now that's all I have available.

Availability:
I sort of like any event-like thing late, so any day but for Monday, Saturday is good after 9 PM. Of course theres still the chance of me not showing up.. and SOMEONE burning my house down!!

Matches Recap-


Round 1: PH brings- rad/psi, 2 psi/em, mind/fire, grav/ta, ill/emp and sonic/pain. P3 brings- 2 psi/em, fire/em, spines/regen, mind/nrg, ill/emp and arch/ta. The map selection was graveyard. PH wins 11-7. This round was actually much closer then the score would indicate a flurry of kills in the last 2 mins pushed PH ahead by 4.

The map selection was skyway. Again a really close match, PH just gets a few cleaner spikes and pulls out a 8-6 win.

Round 3: PH brings... well what is has brought the last 2 rounds. P3 brings- (IDK!?!) I was busy watching the champion pvp league drama explode. The match starts and one of P3's players *dc's* within the first 2 mins of the match. The team capts talk and agree to replay the round. P3 and PH engage in a fierce battle in perez park. P3 brings the pain (get it lin!) and pulls out a 11-8 win.

Overall, I am very impressed with how people have progressed so far, honestly, you guys are thinking and playing like pvpers and I am feeling really good about the progress of this event.

PH has built a really solid core of its players, I have to say I am really impressed with you guys and probably underestimated some of you when I made the teams.

P3 has progressed really well, having had very few players drop out of the league (3 I think?) speaks volumes to the cohesiveness (see what I did there!) of the group. I would like to thank MP for running regularly scheduled practices (which has benefited both teams).

Having said that- it is time to rebalance the teams. I will be talking to both team captains and I have a few options for them to think about. I know that some players maybe upset that they could potentially change teams, however, to keep a level playing field I think we should rebalance at this time.

Another item up for discussion which a few people have already posted on-a time change for our event. I would ask that people post their availability or non-availability depending on which is easier to state. The new freedom league is starting up and I believe that Philly, Smallz and maybe myself will be joining and it is currently slated to be at the same time as our event. If this is the only time that works I am more then happy to continue to host this event and forgo the Freedom League.

Last item- I would like people to start thinking ahead to PVPBC part 2. If we can get enough interest (I've had a few inquiries from other servers) I'd like to have 4-6 teams in the next rendition of this event. I would hope that all of you would continue to participate and help to mentor the new players who join us. Also I will need a few players to step up and offer to lead teams. I am about 50:50 on this being able to get off the ground with that many teams however, I am optimistic and would love to see a large scale event like this hosted by and on Victory.

Speaking for myself and MP....

Mondays-Friday are usually fine (though Friday would be the worst of those)
Saturdays would be the least preferable choice, would have to be after 11pm est (after hami)
Sundays after 7pm is probably okay most of the time, possibly earlier depending on which weekend it is.

We will be away 1/16, probably 1/23, and then 2/10 to 2/15.



As for boot camp 2, if you would have me, I would be willing to lead a team.
