Controllers, with no pet control...Why?

Not to mention if you're teaming with multiple Ill controllers, chaos is pretty much something they're going to seek out. If one or more of them is /storm all bets are off.

Getting things into nice neat piles is a source of joy to me. But so is sending an entire room spawned for 8 into screaming running chaos and still not having any worries about dying. Try it sometime, you may like it more than you think
The last MoKahn I ran was the absolute safest TF I have ever been on. Four illusion controllers, two of them storm, one rad and the other was something else. We also had a storm defender and an energy blaster.

Like I say every time this comes up. Controllers/doms don't need full control, but the basic stances: aggressive, defensive, passive should be allowed.

The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.

I don't even need those. Stay would be an unasked for (by me) boon.

I want passive/agressive modes... and the ability to make my controller pets speak and emote. I know, I know: "That's just too much. Emotive pets would be potentially overpowered and game-breaking." **sighs**

See, I can get behind the fact that trollers and doms need to be able to emote with their pets, why should us MMs get all the fun? I could also get behind giving the troll/dom pets a rudimentary /Stay command, so you dont have them chasing after enemies and aggroing a whole room of enemies or w/e you just arent ready for... but I cannot get behind giving trolls/doms any more control over their pets other than that, that would be too much, just too much. I admit, I have never gotten a troll/dom up to the pet power level, but that is more because of my personal preference than anything...

This is pretty much what it comes down to. Mastermind henchmen have some level of intelligence with which they can accomplish tasks given to them. Controller pets, on the other hand, are almost always unintelligent, a mere fancy of their creator's power. After all, if you can create a ring of fire, why not create a fire monkey? It doesn't mean that monkey is any more intelligent than the ring of fire, however.

But if you create a fire monkey, you should be able to say "Heel!" and have it at least not attack unless attacked. And then you should likewise be able to send it into a frenzy to attack whatever happens to be within range of its perception (not any target specifically, but just set them to attack in general).

You can, it's just called dismiss.

The thing is an embodiment of fire. All it can understand is destroy.

I don't think it can understand even that. Understanding is not the point. I created it, I want to be able to make it stand still... not just dismiss it because its being naughty. Apparently, fire controllers can make flame to make others halt in their tracks... and can make flame that can walk on its own, but cannot make flame that will not move until the controller wills it to.

Lame.
