Uh, GW? A little help here?

I've done the Vigilante Morality Tip Mish at lvl 50 twice now on 3 different toons. Both times I rescued Ghost Widow and she does nothing except follow me around. She even gets a bit pissy if I 'leave her behind' (Keep up, ya damned b****!).

Is she working as intended to just be there and stand around? I really don't have any real trouble doing the mish, but has she been set as a 'rescued hostage' mode?

That seems to be the case for super-powered rescuees in alignment missions, I haven't had one help me yet. Some don't even stick around, they just leave.

What actually bothers me is that I think Doc Quantum is supposed to get a blue rectangle halfway through the fight so he can explain his masterplan to you, but that never happens and I just finish the mission never knowing the full story.

GW is a high level villain that, to her point of view, is having to lower herself just to be involved with a Vigilante to begin with. I always assumed her "pissy" elitist attitude (in general) and her lack of helping in that mission specifically was exactly what the Devs wanted from her in that mission.

If I recall correctly, she even says when you rescue her that you're going to be doing all the work and she's going to just stand back and watch. Or something to that effect.

She says something like that in the Barracuda Strike Force, too. Apparently, GW can see the future.

You must have had a run of bad luck then. I am frequently aided by the likes of Silent Blade, Frostfire, Ravenstorm, Doc Quantum (I always make him help me instead of lead him to the exit), Overdrive, and others I can't recall. In fact, Overdrive has become one of my favorite sidekicks, even if she engages in Fusionette caliber recklessness.

Of course, there are several missions where the rescuees are not combat hostages, but they do often tell you so in one way or another.

Come to think of it, I think I did actually do the one where Ravenstorm helps you. I suppose it depends on which version of the alignment mission you do, so maybe I keep always choosing the one where they don't help you.
