That's... sad.
I thought that he hadn't lived to see his creations, though. I thought he'd passed on many years ago? I wonder who I'm thinking of.
But still, this is sad. However I'm so glad for the math that he gave us. Without it, seriously, our lives would be so freaking dull. So many games rely upon artwork that is essentially fractal in nature. Trees, random coastlines... oh man.
