Yeah, I remember that show. I enjoyed it. Crossed over with the Night Man for one episode.

Are you sure? I thought Manimal only made it for 8 episodes. There was a pseudo-crossover with Automan, but it wasn't an actual team-up type of thing.

Bloody hell. RIP Simon.

this show inspired one of my favorite RPG characters, and the love of animals ive held for along tome now especially black panthers.

I have very fond memories of that show, even if it was a little naff even for 80s TV. I still remember gaining a love of animals from watching it. Now I will have to try and track it down on DvD.

And Simon, ever the charming rogue, even in his later years. A sad passing of a classy actor. RIP.

Manimal appeared as a guest star in Night Man, which was on in syndication about 10 years after Manimal.
