Paragon City is in Rhode Island and, judging from the amount of citizens just walking around, their jobless rate appears to be even higher than ours, so probably not a great economy to host a big professional sports team. I'm betting the Privateers are a farm club.
My guess is the residents of Paragon City just cheer the BoSox, Celtics, Pats, and B's like everyone else in New England.

The real question is does Paragon University have sports teams? With all the katana, BS, and Dual blades running around I'm guessing they at least have a wicked fencing team.

That's true. I also know some companies have sports teams. I used to work for Microsoft and there is a rugby league in Washington for firms. Bank of America has a good team =). At least they did a few years back. Makes me wonder if there are corporate teams in Paragon.

We know there are a few basketball courts in the city zones, but I don't recall seeing any other sports facilities.
Except for those parks with an arch at each end . . . perfect for two players with Repel to play "Hellion Soccer."

Judging from where Paragon City sits on the map, right near Warwick RI, I'd assume that most Paragon City citizens are fans of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, and New England Patriots.

I was wondering, is there any 'official' mention in game or in other lore sources about professional sports teams in Paragon City? Anything like a "Paragon Pounders" basketball team, or such like?
