Lowbie Tankers who seek XP sought -- COH

Hello all -- especially lowbie meleers looking for a FAST PACED high XP experience. *Playing city of HEROES side, though I am Fire/Rad Corrs*

Do you play CoH, heroside? Would you like TRIPLE (near) PERMA ACCELERATE METABOLISM? That's boosted speed, damage, and nearly unlimited ENDURANCE? Do you like taking on a dozen+ enemies at once and surviving (given that I can heal x3 as needed)? Are you a tanker/brute/or hearty scrapper not afraid to run in FIRST while I set up debuffs? Would you like to be on a team that is NEVER smaller than 4 people (since I am 3 and your are 1)? Do you like to see enemies melted rapidly, AoE style, before your very eyes? Do you want to play without any long term commitment (you can join me for 1 mission or many hours, your call)?

If so, then you are welcome to join my "Corruptors of Virtue" team on a nightly basis. You'll be playing with my 3x Fire/Rad Corruptor crew (yes, I triple box -- fully 3 keyboards, 3 mice, 3 screens, etc). I am the progenitor of the FIREBALL UNIVERSITY (F.U. for short, if you recall) having made a 3x Fire/Rad Corruptor setup before it was cool, way back in the CoV days. Now, I'm enjoying the same but on the CoH side.

I'd like to extend an invitation to ANY and ALL tankers from as low as level 22 (*edited*) all the way to my current level (37+ and climbing) -- I will include you on my team and recall teleport your butt around zones as needed (though you WILL need to get your butt to whatever zone I'm in at first). You just need to be a hearty eager player and you will get my invite!

I guarantee a better time than you'd get in the lowbie zones, and a MUCH faster pace. On my team, everyone plays or I hit the kick button. There's no moochin', there's NO doorsitting. AFK and/or unresponsive players get the boot.

I have a preference for 8-man sized enemy groups, +2 or +3. I lay down triple RI and EF and lay waste to most enemies with 3x Rain of Fire and 3x Fireball. Little survives my own alpha.

Ooh, this sort of tempts me. Define "lowbie"; I have a level 21 dark/dark tanker who's been just getting a bit more viable.

Hello all! Brutes/Tankers/Scrappers are all welcome, any level pretty much. Also, anyone of any level with either Accelerate Metabolism or Speed Boost is also welcome.

I play nightly from 9pm-ish to midnight-ish, eastern time zone. You're more likely to find me at 10pm consistently than earlier, however, as I have kids to put to sleep, and their resistance to going to bed is high.

Last night, I had a test run... first I had two tanks, a 14 and a 20, but things were too sloppy.... I attribute this mostly to a lack of a lead tank (I'll take the blame for not being clearer). Effectively, I'd debuff the hell out of a boss, but the two tanks ended up in two spots on the map, resulting in enemies that were out of the debuff zone. Later, one of the two tanks left and the remaining tank and I cleaned house easy-peasy, with a lot more structure & agreed upon strategy. I'll try to keep things clearer in the future and will definitely designate a lead tank at all times so that there's no confusion/spreading out which defeats the point of AoE debuffs & kill zones.

Learned a good bit the last few nights.

While me3 + brute can take out an 8 sized +2 mission, it may be a bit tedious and any lack of paying attention will result in death. This is chiefly attributable to the 2 or more bosses in every pack (and to the fact that I've been teaming up with lvl 14-24 meleers who are not likely well enhanced yet (i.e. SOs, IOs)).

I'll drop to 6 sized +2 tonight and see how that goes (removing the boss danger). If we got a SHIELD style buffer (especially yummy force fields), I'd take it back up a notch, but for now I want to up the pace and reduce the sensitivity to perfection required to avoid team wipes. Once I get higher and can find more 30 something Tanks to team with, this shouldn't be an issue.

6 sized +2 with just me x3 and a tank ended up being far more manageable and far less tedious. Yes, we teamwiped when we walked straight into an ambush, but otherwise, we mulched enemies consistently, while still having a few edge of the seat moments where things could have gone either way. [If we ever get a bubbler, things can get so easy.]

Played with a seasoned level 32ish STONE tank tonight -- as a side note, 3x near perma AM lets the stoney's move nicely even while in full defense mode. I'm happy to report, we mulched happily along. We (meaning me) had a few deaths here and there (no teamwipes that I recall) when we got overzealous, but otherwise we were taking on ridiculous quantities at once of +2 and +3s (to me, so +3/+4 to the tank) and letting loose with the fireworks. I've now equipped 2 of my 3 with a rez power so that any sudden deaths of a tank or a fire/rad doesn't result in a chain reaction of death. I've also now gotten my heals 6 slotted and can fire off enough +HP to bring anyone back from the brink (yes, a corruptor's heal is weakish, but I have 3 of them and can cycle the heal every 3 seconds or so -- my crews leave most fights topped out with HP and with END regeneration rapidly from 3xAM).

If for any reason I seem unresponsive, it's likely that I am dealing with one of my RL alts (i.e. kids). That only happens when I first log on; once I start playing, the kids are usually sound asleep.

Indeed, I am the one with the HOLE collection. My army consists of 30 something lvl 40-50s (mostly 50s) of every AT in the game, both sides, on two servers (Virtue & my original home, CHAMPION). After 30 something 'Hole's, I had to begin to use othernames or risk bannage with more 'out there' names.

Hard to believe I've been playing this game for 5+ years (started the weekend it first released) -- though I did have a 6+ month hiatus before Going Rogue.

I find it difficult to play some of my oldies, as they have so many Hami-O's slotted that it would take 3-4 respecs to get ones that would be wasted, out. They didn't change that so you can get (more than 10) valuable enhancements out easier, did they? When i19 rolls out with the inherent fitnees powers, I'm going to have a lot of work to do re-speccing as nearly every character but like 1-2 of mine has fitness.

Now level 37 and positively steamrolling through. Have had to up the ante to lvl 22+ tankers... need someone with all the defenses and a chance of having better enhancements.

I also have a strong preference to add controllers after I get a tank or scrapper front end. If you fit the bill, look me up and take my crew out for a test run.
