PVP resists?
It certainly helps, but it isn't a huge deal since a lot of it gets DR'd as is.

its 40% but it gets DR'd to about 29(iirc)
After looking at MIDS....It says that certain AT's get resistance in pvp. For example Blasters, corruptors, controllers, all get 40% resistance to all damage types. Is this true? Seems like a huge advantage to them. What do other AT's get in exchange like Tankers, scrappers etc? I thought melee was already at a disadvantage but now this makes it worse.

not like resistance is crazy mitigation anyhow.
the only mitigation in pvp now adays is HP and high percentage heals. and crazy high defense via elude.

what about regen? does that get DR and where is a good post about DR?

regen gets DR'd but not as bad. regen also get reduced whenever travel suppression kicks in. why? no one knows.

there isn't a good post about DR because its such a complicated and ****** up system that literally no one can figure it out. arcana did a post about it a long time ago and it was so confusing and had real crazy math.
basically, DR hits everything. it doesn't hit everything by the same amount. it hits defense, damage, and recharge harder than say HP and regen.

So DR is only in PVP right? Im scared to ask how DR would affect a Perma Hasten build? Is perma hasten possible anymore in PVP?
Recharge past 70% gets neutered by DR - to give you an example, permadom usually requires about 75% global recharge and if you've got 120% plus Hasten you'll just barely be able to stack it if you're in a PvP environment.

but don't worry there have been RP'rs that complained about that so there is a patch in the works. Definately can't have a costume piece that may not be as shiny as it could be.
