Is this a bug that keeps them quiet even after the emote is done or it is just good while the emote is in effect ?

You can buff your pets without breaking the emote, and I have spent 20 minutes at WW without breaking the emote.
But yeah, only as long as the emote is running, which it will until you move the pets or are attacked.

My Demon/FF MM used to use a macro of "petsayall <em atease>" to make them stand there quietly. When I got the emotes from the GR booster, I changed it to "<em stancehero1>".
The only restriction is they have to be able to do the emote, there's some they won't/can't do.
