Also, meta-upon-meta for its parody of the "We'll kill of characters you love" schtick that this very thread was based upon discussing.

family guy was trying so hard to not offend their right wing masters it was almost said to watch.

"Even the truth are lies on Fox", or something like that I face palmed so hard on that segment. Its funny watch them pull all their punches when doing any jokes Limbaugh/fox related so they dont offend of them.

Cleveland show + america dad were both ok though. I liked Cleveland show alot this week but that could just be that I like 'lol so randum' humor that the episode was full of.

Pull their punches? Have you been watching the same show we've been watching? They've taken *countless* shots at Fox and Fox news over the years.

which make the fact that they pulled punches even more obvious. i was thinking 'hey I dont remember family guy doing this crap before' as I was watching.

also making brian look like a bumbling idiot when he's trying to point out Limburg's biases was just pathetic. "Uh..uh...well.uh you're a bad guy" was basically the jist of it ,he's was basically just there to validate rush to show his opponents are idiots who don't know what their talking about.
We're too chicken to take big cracks at the guy because he's friends with our network masters so we'll just play it off herp derp.

They take cracks at the right all the time. This time they took a light punch at liberals with a much heavier emphasis on people that form their political opinions without really thinking about them.

Brian was deliberately given bad arguments to underline this point. They weren't pulling punches on the right; they were busy punching someone else.

Edit: Also, the "Everything Fox says is a lie" exchange was a retcon, because it was previously established that there was no Rush Limbaugh in the Family Guy-verse.

one of the thing I like about family guy is that they're not afraid to single out a guy (eg GW bush or something) and say: you suck (or whatever). This time it felt like they didnt have the balls to do that to Limbaugh, so they went a complete different direction and point to the faceless mass of liberals instead. But that's just how I feel. Limbaugh was like the hero of the episode or something and couldnt do any wrong.

Maybe Limbaugh wouldn't agree to the show if he got made fun of or whatever but yeah.

They laughed at Limbaugh significantly. Maybe the part where he said "Anyone that would give a woman credit for anything is a liberal" would be a decent tip for that.
