Its selling point is that it can run both online and offline games such as [redacted due to very stupid forum rules; popular RTS and popular MMO] along with 3D development tools. In a nutshell, you're looking at a full-fledge PC OS on a mobile device.

The OCS 1 comes with a 4.8-inch, 1,024 x 600-pixel capacitive touchscreen, 32GB SSD, a microSD card slot; Wi-Fi connectivity, 3.5mm audio jack, speaker, microphone and a pair of cameras (3 megapixels for the main module; 1.3 megapixels for the Web cam).

If it can run the RTS and MMO that the article mentions, it should handle COH just fine.

You might also want new eyes: a 4.8" screen (12.2cm diagonal) would be 4.1" wide (10.5cm) and 2.4" tall (6.2cm); with a resolution of 1024x600, that's 247 dots per inch (97 dots per cm). That's almost 3 times the dot density of your regular desktop monitor; they are usually around 90 dpi (35 dpcm).

My cellphone has a 2" screen (5.1cm) at 320x240, 200 dpi (78 dpcm) and I wouldn't want to stare at it for long periods of time. This device has the dots even closer together.

Oh I already want new eyes. The ones I have have been defective for 37 years.

Assuming that your monitor is around 90dpi (22" at 1680x1050, 24" at 1920x1080) this screenshot is adjusted for the real size of this device's screen:

Use a ruler, it should be about 4.8" (12.2 cm) diagonal. I don't think I want to expose my eyes to that.

Here is the screenshot at full resolution.

Wouldn't be too bad, at least for costume creation or checking your AE arcs or whatnot.

Ouch! Back to the lab to invent a pen size projector that will shoot this image onto the nearest wall at 4 times the size lol

I crashed a cadillac through the gates of hell and returned with a fistfull of dollars.

Portable projectors for Ipods are already out, and price starting to drop. About the size of a coffee mug.

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

Would need me some 3g (or 4g) to be really portable. I wouldn't want to be limited to a Starbucks or something to use it.

Otherwise, it looks cool. As long as you could zoom in to various areas of the screen, it would work well for just chatting, or marketeering or costuming. Even something like playing a Scrapper, Brute, or Blaster would be very doable, as long as you don't care about reading the chat at the time.

WoW has a smartphone market app for whatever they call their WW.

That would be quite serviceable with some time spent adjusting the UI for that size, but I would not want to spend dedicated periods of time playing the game that way.

I spent a little time at 1280x720, the lowest resolution I could set my system to, and adjusted the UI to where I could find it moderately acceptable for a smaller screen (identical in size to the screenshot above) and it would really only have use for some solo play or marketeering. I'd much rather play with a netbook and a mouse for any significant period of time, a game like this.

By it's size, it would seem that playing solo would be pretty manageable. Just don't try to read text. This thing will either flop, or it will become popular and everyone will start making products like it. excited!

You can type /screen 1024 600 to resize your playing area to that while playing fullscreen (that's how I got the above screensht). Once you're done, though, remember to type /screen 1920 1080 (or whatever resolution you normally use) because the game "remembers" the last screen resolution and would attempt to start at 1024x600 the next time you started it otherwise.
