Update: Strike Force Saturdays
The Lady Grey Task Force went well, and of course I wasn't paying attention so I have no idea how long it took and I forgot to get a group shot before everyone left. Still, 3 of us stuck around for fun in the last room so I got a screenshot of that:
I did at least remember to take one or two action screenshots while everyone was still on the team, go Here to take a look.
According to the List, next week's strike force is the Barracuda Strike Force. So if you're a villian, level 45+, who enjoys beating up nazis, then meet in Grandville at Barracuda on Saturday, December 4th at 5pm PST/8pm EST!
I'm so unfamiliar with everything villain related that I was forgetting what a great way to get the SF badges this would be for my "turned" tanker.
Dec. 4 it is.
█ Players Guide to the Cities
I am in on this too. Especially if we try for a Master run. SilverCybernaut.
Protector Server
Woeful Knight (BS/Regen/Body Scrapper)
Kevin Christian (MC/FF/Primal Controller)
SilverCybernaut (Eng/Dev/Munitions Blaster)
Apixie OhNo (Fire/Fire/Pyre Tanker)
Y'ru Glowen (Rad/Rad/Psy Defender)
Master run? I've been trying to get that for a long time now. If yalls're willing to go for it, I'm in with my bots/FF, hehe.

Characters
If memory serves, last time we did this we did really well, only a death or two that could have easily been avoided with inspirations.
If we get a good team together, a "Master of" could be very doable. I'll be there on Hero Man.
Edit: I'm in a Hami Raid (second one tonight), so unless the start is delayed, I will not be there.
Got in on the 2nd hami raid, and missed the official start time.
But w/ i19, enough people were interested that I started a 2nd run.
1:44 completion w/ no deaths on the reichsman fight.
Not too shabby for a pug run if I do say so myself.
Everyone did fantastic. I hope the first run went smoothly as well =]]
What's on for next week? Do we loop around? or go for the Incarnate SFs?
So, we attempted a master run but that didn't last too long. Thankfully once someone died we cut loose and had a little more fun with it. Also I remembered to take screenshots! Including a shot of the team Roster and the Ending stats.
And of course some action shots can be found Here.
At the end a few of us were talking about next week and decided to go for the Apex Task Force. Since there's no Wiki Page for this TF yet I'll give some of the basic info here.
First, all the mobs are level 54, no matter what. If you don't have something actually slotted into your alpha slot you will have a -4 level shift put on you, so the mobs will effectively be +8 to you. So I'd like to have everyone have something in their alpha slot. Now this isn't set in stone of course, something like an empath wouldn't really need it to be able to heal well, so use your best judgment.
Second, this TF is very range oriented, but that doesn't mean you have to have a lot of range. On the beta server I took part in an Apex run that was all melee except for 1 blaster and we still were able to finish without too much trouble.
Finally, expect to die a lot on the Battle Maiden Fight. A lot. Do not stand still in this fight any longer than you have to, this includes melees. Just because you can laugh when statesman punches you in the face doesn't mean you can shrug off the AoEs that pop up in this fight. Everyone that stays in one of these dies, no exceptions. This fight will be a lot of hit and run tactics, -regen is VERY useful, so bring an envenomed dagger or a vanguard heavy if you can.
If anyone else has any helpful hints, please post them here.
Now, all that being said, if you still want to join in meet up at Apex in the Rikti War Zone next Saturday, December 11th at 5pm PST/ 8pm EST.
The first ever Strike Force Saturday Apex TF was a big success! Thanks to everyone who showed up. We had a full team and everyone had their Alpha slotted, which was a big help. The first mission went smooth, I think we only had one or two deaths, and one of those was someone who went afk briefly. The second mission had a lot of deaths of course, but we stuck with it and finished the TF in just under 1:30. Here's the screenshots:
My pre-Tf pep talk. Team Roster. Strike Force Time.
As usual more screens can be found here, along with a couple of group screenshots at the end with Stargeek and Antisocial spazzing out.
Next week we will be doing the Tin Mage Task Force. Since that wiki entry I linked to has no real info, I'll give a little bit here.
Just like the Apex TF you need to have something slotted into your alpha slot otherwise the enemies will be +8 to you.
The first tough part is the malta AV. He spawns a ton of land mines all over the room. Constantly. When I did this TF in beta we didn't have much trouble, but I read of others who had a tough time so I think I just got lucky.
The next really tough part is the fight with Bobcat and Neuron. Bobcat can two-shot a brute who is at the lethal cap and Neuron spawns a ton of clones of himself. I've heard that you need to defeat the two of them around the same time otherwise you get a debuff on you, so keep that in mind.
I think that covers the important parts. There's no real tricks to this one like there was in the Battle Maiden fight.
If you're up for this one meet up in the Rikti War Zone next saturday, december 18th at 5pm PST/ 8pm EST!
The Tin Mage Task Force went very well, we earned every badge except the one for not getting hit by the land mines. :P We finished at around 1 1/2 hrs, I don't have a screenshot because for some reason at the end it didn't pop up the "Strike Force Complete!" window. Here's the team Roster. Big thanks to Doc Knight and Megaera Fey for helping to lead the team through some areas since I've only done this TF once before.
Bonus screenshots can be found Here.
The last couple of weeks I've announced SFS in the global channels about 30 minutes ahead of time as a reminder and ended up getting a lot of people wanting to join early. I've decided to start waiting until the scheduled time before saying anything on global channels that way anyone who actually reads this thread will have a chance of getting there before the team fills up.
Now, for next week I'm not sure what we should do. We skipped the Mender Silos SF in favor of the Incarnate TFs, so we can either do Mender Silos next week or start over at Tarikoss. Any opinions?
After some thought I decided to run the Mender Silos SF on saturday. I figured since that's x-mas day a shorter SF would probably work out better for some people. Also that means we can start the new year next weekend at the beginning of the Strike Force list, which appeals to my obsessive compulsiveness.
So, if you have the time, meet up in ouroboros on Saturday, December 25th, at 5pm PST/8pm EST for the Mender Silos Strike Force. For those that won't be able to make it: Happy holidays!
Well, no one showed up this week, so I went ahead and did the SF solo, since it's one of the few that lets me do that. I was done in less than an hour and I remembered to take screenshots!
Action screenshots can be found Here.
Next week will be the first SFS of the new year! We'll be starting over at the beginning of the list with the Tarikoss SF. It's level 15+ so it'll be a good time to bring a lowbie that needs some xp. So if you want to see with your own eyes what lurks beneath Cap Au Diable, join us next Saturday, January 1st, at 5pm PST/8pm EST!
=P
sorry. I wanted to make it but I had to take my cousin to watch Tangled. gj on the run tho =]] and I'll try to make it for the next round of SFS
Well, this week I brought my soldier of arachnos, only to find out he has a drinking problem! Despite that, we had a team of 7 and the Tarikoss SF went very well ending in under an hour. As an added bonus, I actually remembered to have everyone stay for the group shot, huzzah!
Also, the usual assortment of action screenshots can be found Here.
Now, looking at The List I see that next week's SFS will be the Silver Mantis Strike Force "Pirates of the Sky", which awards the Air Pirate badge(Pirate Hunter if you're a vigilante). This SF is level 20+ so it's another good one to bring a lowbie alt. So if you wanna help beat up the leader of the Sky Raiders, meet up at Silver Mantis in Sharkhead next Saturday, January 8th, at 5pm PST/8pm EST!
This week we had a team of 7. (it started as 8 but there was an... incident) Anywho, I forgot to take screenshots except at the very end for the group shot, but I'm told we finished somewhere around 1:45.
(also the group shot was really off-center, I think my screenshot skills were debuffed for this one )
Next week, according to The List, we'll be running the Operative Renault Strike Force. This SF is level 25+, awards the Leviathan Badge, and also grants Coral Weaponry temp powers randomly at the end. (Coral Amulet, Coral Hammer, or Coral Shards) So if you want to unlock the mysteries of the Leviathan meet up at Operative Renault in Sharkhead next Saturday, January 15th, at 5pm PST/ 8pm EST!
Zal, that was a fun run, happy I could take part in it. Hope to see on the next one.
Nuclear Annihilation: 50. (Rad/Rad) Corruptor.
Quasar Eclipse: 50 Warshade.
Humanoid No. 7: 50 (Invuln/SS) Tank.
faces.cohtitan.com/profile/chefinferno
We had 7 people show up for the Operative Renault Strike Force and finished at around an hour and a half. The big surprise though was that this strike force has had 2 missions added to it since the last time we ran it! Including one against the Legacy Chain that had a bunch of runes with various effects spawning throughout the mission!
Sadly I forgot to take extra screenshots again, so this week's photo album only has 1 image in addition to the group shot.
After checking The List, I see that next Saturday is going to be a 2-for-1 special! That's right, we'll be running the Mender Tesseract (Level 25+) and Mender Lazarus (Level 30+) strike forces! It'll be a day of campy arachnos and overthrowing nazis, so if you're interested meet up in Villain Ouroboros next Saturday, January 22nd, at 5pm PST/8pm EST!
We got the two Ouroboros strike forces done in just under 48 minutes total. We also had no deaths right up until the end of the Lazarus SF where we got swarmed by those 5th column ambushes. :P
For Tesseract we had 4 people and tore through the whole thing in around 21 minutes. Then for Lazarus we again had 4 people, our brute left but a MM joined us, and it took around 27 minutes. Also, I remembered to take a bunch of screenshots this time, so check out the Strike Force Saturday Album.
Tesseract: Lazarus:
Next week is double XP weekend, so it's a great time to run a SF on a big team and really rack up the XP! According to The List, we'll be doing the Ice Mistral Strike Force, which awards the Crystal Keeper badge and the Enchantment of Serafina temp power. So if you like giant exploding pink psychic crystals, come join us for the Ice Mistral SF on Saturday, January 29th at 5pm PST/ 8pm EST!
Late update because I was busy getting my double xps.
The Ice Mistral Strike Force went great, probably one of the fastest team fills I've ever seen for SFS. We had a full 8 people and finished in under an hour. Also I got a whole bunch of screenshots!
Next week, according to The List, is an obscure co-op strike force called Time's Arrow. I believe people also call it ITF, but don't quote me on that since people almost never run it. Apparently it takes place in the past near rome, and there may be some nazis involved as well. At least ancient romans sound pretty simple from a graphics standpoint, so expect little to no lag.
So if you want to run this rare strike force, meet up in Cimerora next Saturday, February 5th, at 5pm PST/8pm EST!
I got to do my first task force with a level shift, and it was a blast! So fun in fact I forgot to take screenshots of the ending time and the team roster, but I did get plenty of other screenshots along the way.
According to the big strike force list over at paragon wiki, next week is the Lord Recluse Strike Force! Because I'm sure no one is sick of it yet. >.> Still, if you have an incarnate it'll be good for some shards, and if you have a pre-50 character it'll be good xp. So if you wanna beat up Ms. Liberty and make Statesman cry, meet up in Grandville next Saturday, February 12th at 5pm PST/ 8pm EST!
I keep missing these.
There seems to always be some activity to do at home when these happen.
I'm going to have to start scheduling these on the fridge calendar.
█ Players Guide to the Cities
OMG, someone else posted here!!!! I always feel like I'm talking to myself.
So this week we attempted a Master of Lord Recluse Strike Force, unfortunately due to a bug someone was killed. However we went on to have one of the smoothest LRSF runs I've seen so far. We had a full team of 8 and finished around 1:08. Also I got some extra screenshots posted Here.
According to Paragonwiki's List, the next week will be the Lady Grey Task Force, and I think that will be the weekly strike target as well! So come beat up some rikti and get some bonus rewards next Saturday, February 19th at 5pm PST/8pm EST!
=P sorry. been busy with some other things but it's cool to see this is still going strong =]]
my saturdays have been kinda weird lately but I'll try to make it to one of these some day lol
We had a great Lady Grey Task Force run, with a full team of 8 and our ending time was around 1:38. Also, as usual, screenshots! (except 2 people exited the mission too early so they didn't make it into the group shot )
According to the List, next week will be the Barracuda Strike Force. I'm sure by the end of the week people will need a break from running Sister Psyche/Silver Mantis. So if you want to beat up lots and lots of nazis meet up in grandville next Saturday, February 26th at 5pm PST/8pm EST!
Oh, and, um, Reichsman called and he said you're dumb and funny looking, so you should probably show up so you can get back at him. >.>
Well, we managed to get a full team, but without buffs or debuffs we couldn't finish the final mission. Still, we had fun along the way! I forgot to get a group shot, so instead here's a screenshot of me doing the grief emote outside the grandville hospital. :P
Next week's strike force will be the Lady Grey Task Force, so if you want to fight clockwork, hami, and loads 'o rikti, meet up at Lady Grey in the RWZ next Saturday, November 27th at 5pm PST/8pm EST!
*shameless plug* Also, if you're interested in my all tanker posi runs on Thanksgiving day, be sure to check out this thread and let me know what times are good for you!
