I've done the STF about 15 times, only succeeded once, and that was not a master, out of the 15 times it was a master about 5 times.

Work on a time with Stray as they have help me out and gotten to the point were I can lead them.
Like stray I have plans at 9est friday, Saturday are hard for me as I do a static team and Hami raids.

I think your bubbler was on my MoSTF with my emp.
My 1 Master we had a bubbler and ice to help us out. We pulled Scirocco and GW together, beat on Sci then mopped up GW. But I'm no expert. I just followed whatever Beetle King told me to do.

I've not failed an STF at the Patrons. I think if a team has any real trouble with them, they may as well drop and try again with different alts/friends since Lord Recluse is an order of magnitude harder.
Unless of course the trouble you had was due to having 8 tanks on the team who could hold off any enemy, but needed to melee GW and so allowed her to heal a lot. In that case, LR might go fine lol.
Master runs should require all team members to pay a deposit to the NCsoft store of $25. Whoever dies loses their deposit and can't make another attempt for one month. Either that, or the badge should be based on whether *you* personally die or not, during the run.

It help that the team works to the same goal, knows the TF/SF. Know when to pull out and how effects of the games works. That 5% change to hit can/will kill members on a team even if they ran the last 5 without dieing.
Charging people to do master runs is a stoopid idea. Might as well make it pay for for each mission you run.

The "crisis points" I've seen are:
i)Nexus of Thorns: The vines DOT and the tree, combined with Circle of Thorns holds makes this messy.
ii)Dr. Aeon: He clones, you lose target on the original, he Energy Transfers you for a zillion, no Clear Mind/Clarity on you, you die.
iii)Ghost Widow: The hold and pbaoe heal do it here.
You can overcome (i) by carrying some Sturdy and a Break Free or two and managing your health bar. You can overcome (ii) by simply being careful. You can overcome (iii) by bringing enough colds to start a freezer sale, good emp/sonic/pain on team to keep CM up, some Lucks/Archmage or just good positioning without gimmicks. If you have your standard Stone Tanker or Willpower Tanker or Shield Tanker, they just taunt Ghost Widow while you wail on her and defeat.
The Flier spawns can be an issue as well, but you just need to have some awareness of surroundings and blast them when they show up, as well as remembering the spawn timer.
