Praetorian Mish- Team mates targetable

Posted

Just ran the mission "Stop Metronomes Rise to Power" with a Defender, 2 Scrappers, 2 Masterminds, a Cor, a Dom, and a Troller. Team mates were targetables and we had to try like heck not to kill eachother to complete the mission. Only the Masterminds pets were showing as red targetable boxes, but I could still attack team mates that had green boxes. The defender couldn't heal anyone but themself.

I heard this has been happening on TFs latley, but not sure if it's been reported in regular missions.

Do not use Ouroboros or Pocket D to travel to the mission, and you'll have no more troubles like this.

Pocket D and Ouroboros were not an issue, nobody used them because the mission was in Neutropolis. Also, none of us had access to Ouroboros, we were all level 20 and under.

I ran into this as well, and it was on the exact same mission. Pocket D and ouroboros were not the issue, since none of us used it to get to the mission.

On my team at least, we were split along loyalist/resistance lines (as in resistance members could attack loyalists, but not other resistance members).

I've seen this 3 times so far in Praetoria, always with loyalist/resistance mixed teams. MM pets set to anything but passive will immediately attack teammates, AOE's will affect teammates as will debuffs.

Apparently this was reported repeatedly in closed beta and open beta although I didn't run across the problem until it went live. Make sure to /bug it every time it happens and hopefully sometime it'll get fixed.

I've heard that this bug gets interesting in Warburg, all pets will attack their owner

Hm. Odd.. about the only other "faction check" in Praetoria are the faction restricted buildings, like Marchand's hangout and the Underground entrances.

Maybe that's what caused it.

There is another thread on this topic, and it is a known issue. I ran into it myself awhile back. It all depends on your alignment. Loyalists can attack Resistance and vice versa. There is no way to get around this from what I have seen. We just need to wait until it's fixed in a patch.

50's (Only most important)
Zuraq (53 EM/SR Brute)
Stagmalite (50 Granite/Fire TanK)
(Couple of other's I don't care about.)

Use the bug as an exploit to farm PVP IOs faster and it will get fixed in the next 6 hours

It goes beyond Praetoria.

Had the same issue on a Sister Psyche TF. It seems the bug affects all mixed alignment teams.

I bet, you had this problem on "board train" missions of Sister Psyche TF.
